Don't worry, I'll be among family, and I'm not one to be belligerent. Dead Island is pretty awesome. :)

I heart them all. :) They all have moments of awesomeness.

Therefore, I can't vote.

Exam down, quiz down for today. Done with classes, too!

What to do? My 360 is calling my name. And I keep wondering if my boyfriend is going to bring home Gears of War 3 from work today. Don't freak out or anything, but I've never played any of the Gears games before. I grew up on Sony stuff, mostly. Although my first system was a Sega Genesis. Toejam and Earl, those were the days. That's besides the point. I could watch Netflix. I've been addicted to Breaking Bad, which is EXCELLENT if you haven't checked it out. I could start watching Hulu again, I mean all my shows start this week. The thing is- I don't want to get into a game right now, because I've got so much going on with school.

I have three weeks left of my 1st trimester of school. Then two weeks to plan out my Halloween costume, which I have decided to go with Batgirl. Come on, she's new and improved, just been rebooted. My lovely boyfriend is planning on being hottie Harvey Dent/Two-Face. Well, I think he's kind of hot, anyway. And Randy can totally pull it off. So, that and Mass Effect 2 will be happening the last two weeks in October.

This weekend will be kind of a mini-vacation for me. Traveling to the middle of Iowa for my cousin's wedding- and my sister is flying in from North Carolina with the hubby and kids. This is kind of a big deal, because I haven't seen them in 7 months. We skype, but it's just not the same. ANYWAY- Friday is the wedding, which I intend on getting pretty intoxicated for-- then Saturday we're going to go see what lovely Des Moines, IA has in store for us. Yay for the middle of Iowa. Not a huge difference or anything, I'm driving a whopping 3 hours. WHICH this is where I get to listen to the Giant Bombcast, and This is Only a Test for this week. I just intend on letting it all hang out, well to a certain extent. If you are on twitter, you can follow me at @BeckaFranck, I should be uploading a lot of photos from the weekend. That's normally how I roll.

So, I guess I'll have to wait about another hour before I know what I'll be playing for a bit tonight. There always is Dead Island..............which we rented on Redbox. Joy. So ambivalent.

Most definitely not pregnant. :) HAHAHA. Palmer goes by trimesters instead of semesters.

When I was at work once I was talking about trimesters and all my co-workers thought I was pregnant.

Maybe she thinks you guys are having a bonding experience. My boyfriend and I, we play video games together all the time. I feel like it's something that we can do together and have fun. Maybe that's what she gets out of it. She feels that she's bonding with you. I'm horrible at Professor Layton, but I still play the games, even if I can't solve all the puzzles on my own. I also REALLY loved Picross 3D, even though I haven't finished it yet. If she didn't enjoy it, she would have quit already. Girls who play video games are a rare breed. At least you don't have some crazy girl getting pissed at you all the time for gaming. :)

Nice. So you obviously feel my pain. :) I'm just glad I don't have to study them for my next lab practical. I'm studying this Anatomy coloring book- it has really excellent pictures, and that's what I'm going to be tested over. So- no gross lab unless I reeeeeallly want to go, which I don't. Haha.

Okay, so this is entirely random- but that is my life!

Thursday was my first lab with cadavers. Yes, dead bodies. And these dead bodies-- just had muscles and bones on them. I wasn't so nervous about it. I just was curious what it really looked like. And all I could think of was dark meat, and light meat. Like a Thanksgiving turkey. Ha. Weird. The smell wasn't TOO bad, but yeah. It was more than enough for me. Just another thing to put in my book of life.

Now what have I been doing?

Playing Call of Duty: Black Ops. Which I'm not a shooter person what so ever. Their are so many BETTER games out there than just going around and shooting terrorists. So, I'm going to start playing Bioshock. It's been downloaded over 8 months ago onto my 360, and I just.. haven't gotten around to it. Too busy. And then I played Dragon Age 2. And then I started Mass Effect 2, but didn't finish it. I'm famous for starting a game--- and not finishing it. It's an illness.

So this October, between my trimesters- I'm going to play a game all the way through. Start to finish. Beginning to end. And I'll document the whole thing by video shorts. I'll post them on here. Sounds exciting, right? Haha.

NOW- I have a Psych exam and Anatomy quiz to study for. Hitting the library for the afternoon, ohhhh joy.

Hi, I'm Rebecca. I'm 26, and I'm from Davenport, IA. Yes, IOWA. I know you're all thinking of cornfields, everywhere. I'm actually right along the Mississippi River, in a place called the Quad Cities. I can literally hop on one of three bridges and cross into Illinois in about 5 minutes.

Right now, I'm a student at Palmer College of Chiropractic. I'm almost finished with my first trimester. It is quite the experience. REALLY HARD, but I like it. I'm new to forums. I'm a little shy when it comes to posting my opinions, but I've already started blogging about random nothingness.

I've worked at a local video game store chain for about a year, but recently had to quit because school was too intense. But, that doesn't stop me from reading about video games, and of course playing them! I have two weeks between trimesters next month- I intend on trying to beat a game during that time. Any suggestions?

I have a 360. Had a PS3, and have Steam. I'm a chronic twitter-er as well, about random stuff as well. :)
