  • PS3 - Closing out 20 'o 10 with a bang. I finally got around to playing this, and finished it in 2 sittings. Other than a dodge mechanic I didn't care for, the game was excellent. The voice acting is incredible, the look and feel of the game and characters is spot on as well. My favourite parts were definitely the stealth missions and the detective work. Mind you, the detective portions consist of following a trail of breadcrumbs, but I think they can tweak it so that it's more engaging. The concept of it was good though. :)

  • Completed the 360 version on the Regular difficulty. Not an overly long game, and indeed a better story than MW2. 6 or 7 hrs I think. I am not very good at CoD so I died about a million times, and missed about 5 simple achievements ... that most likely I won't go back to. One one level drove me insane, and that's the rooftop building level. Worst. Level. Ever. But despite my frustrations, the game was good, and the MP is excellent!

  • What an excellent game! It wasn't overly long, but I'd estimate around 6 hours (?) or so to do all 10 constellations and the 2 S constellations. Many of the puzzles are doable quickly and a much better control scheme with the d-pad, as well as the use of adjectives makes for a great experience. The added challenge is going back and completing the challenge mode on many levels ... which I did not do, mostly for my own sanity, but chances are I'll play around with them on long trips and such.

  • Man oh man, I almost should have waited to finish this, because now I definitely want to find out what happens. :) Not sure how long it took me to finish, but I did all 25 missions and the Secret Mission. I'll go back at some point and redo the missions that have the different choices. This game was fantastic! Every mission was different, the voice acting was great, and the story was very engaging. I guess I can move on to Civ V now ...

  • No idea how long, but I'm certain it's around the 3 - 3.5 hr mark as most have been saying. The first half of the game is fantastic, then it tails off because of stupid gravity puzzles in the latter portion. I personally hate gravity puzzles since it becomes all timing based errors. That's fine for a few deaths, but when it's a high death count, it goes from fun to frustrating. All in all a fantastic game, but came down a notch due to gravity puzzles.

  • 360 Version - 34Hrs 18Min, and I ended around level 26. I was a paragon. I must say, this game so far has been my favourite of 2010. Absolutely fantastic. Everything that was wrong with the first game was fixed and improved. I like the direction they took with a bit more of the action/shooter gameplay, but still maintained the Dialog, with some rough RPG elements. The entire game was interesting, and I found I was never truly bored or grinding. The only thing I disliked about this game - Firewalker missions.

  • PC - 69:19 on my first play through, in which I was a Dalish Elf, and pretty much a goodie goodie for the entire game. Man that game was great, though after 69 hrs of play, I think it'll sit for a while before I play it again. However, it was excellent! A must play for PC rpg fans.

  • Well I went through it again. I wanted to play something via Steam on my new MacBook Pro. :D Hurray for Mac Steam Client. I think it took me 4 hours or less this time. I honestly didn't even look. Oh well. :D

  • Special Edition

Continuing my adventure game binge, I ran through the new special edition of SoMI and it was excellent, clocking in just under 6 hrs. The voice acting fit incredibly well, and I really enjoyed the updated look. The humour is still good, and the game as a whole holds up exceptionally well. I can hardly wait until LeChuck's Revenge! :D

  • My zany King's Quest adventures continue! I capped off KQ3 in just under two hours. Much better than KQ2, but still not as good as the original. However, it was a lot more complex than both of them. The actual "story" of the game doesn't materialize until about 80% of the way through. Onward to 1988 and KQ IV ...

  • Heh yes, much like KQ1, I went through this quickly with a walkthrough. It was one of the older games I'd never played through, and I think now that I've done it once, I don't need to ever again. hah :) The first game seemed to be much better. Oh well, I'm still glad I played it all the same. :)

  • Ok, so this one doesn't REALLY count, but I figured I'd toss it up here anyway. I wanted to relive some nostalgia, but without the effort, so I just plowed through the game in one sitting with a walkthrough ... I stand by my choice. :D

  • A good finish to a great series. I don't have the exact finish time at the moment, the credits are still rolling but I imagine somewhere around 10 hrs or so on Normal Difficulty. A couple of irritating sequences near the end, a it felt like a bit of steam was lost after a strong start, but all in all, I enjoyed the experience immensely.

  • PS3 Version - Well this one is half a cop-out (but I'll take it!), since I played through with someone else, who did most of the work. I have no idea how many hours, but it seemed much shorter than the first, which is pretty nice. On a gameplay level the game is better than the first, but I really didn't get heavily into the game. I think I had enough of Rapture after the first game. The story isn't as good, but then again I don't think any sequel to Bioshock would have had that same awe and wonder. Still a great game, but I think I've had enough time in Rapture ...

  • 17hrs 50min

Found 123 Puzzles of 138, solved 122 (damn sliding puzzle!)

3420 picarats, with 15 of 90 hint coins. All in all a great game, though some of the instructions are quite vague, leading to mistakes and such. But that's a minor quarrel. The story was far more interesting this time around as well. :) I most likely won't find the remaining puzzles, since I borrowed the game and have to give it back.

  • PS3 Version - Just over 27 hours with the DLC played as well. Excellent Excellent Excellent game. More of everything people wanted, and less of what they didn't. Also, for completionists, it isn't overly difficult to get the Platinum trophy ... unless you're me, and you don't want to collect 100 feathers, and lose trophies from the PSN having a bad day ...

  • It's like 6 hrs long with another player. But it's a ton of fun! Seriously, if you have a Wii, and $10, and don't mind hearing the F-Bomb being dropped every 10 seconds, pick this up. Pure cheese at it's finest.

  • I almost forgot that I played through this early this year. I've already forgotten how many hours. It was alright, though once the mutant cave people showed up, I really didn't care much for the game. I can see why it was amazing when it came out, and it's worth a play through, but I will probably never play it again.
