Modern life is not rough. As a matter of fact, we've never had it better, and it is rough because things are so easy now that there's no purpose to people's lives, no struggle to survive. In searching for purpose, people give themselves to extreme causes on both sides to feel like their lives have meaning and that they're fighting for something, since they don't have to fight to survive.
I'm sorry friend, but many many many people live extremely hard lives to this very day. Children and adults alike die of hunger and preventable, treatable illness. People die of senseless murder. People die while struggling to survive.
Not really on board with Vinny's idea that 2 is in any way better than one. His criticisms of 1 are off point and he presents them as "everyone says this" but its not true.
2 is a major step down and one the biggest sequel disappointments in the history of video games.
@sweetz: Just in case you were wondering and no one else has mentioned it, Rift will be able to play anything Vive currently supports.
With a third sensor, rift + touch does full roomscale, and there's currently no way of locking out rift users from vive content (google temporarily tried it with earth vr but a workaround was almost immediately available)
