Couldn't agree more. Buying digital is for chumps, or those who simply never revisit their media. This is something a staggering number of people do, and I can't fathom it.

I have only one eye, for all intents and purposes, so there's that.

Irony of ironies, I'm beating Persona 4 Golden on Vita right this moment. Been playing since August. I think I'll still prefer it on Vita since I don't care much for gaming on PC, but I'm really glad everyone else gets a chance to play it.

I think the OP's real issue is the use of the hyperbolic "unacceptable." I agree that it's probably too much in most instances, unless it dramatically affects the way the game runs. I might be off here.

Like, I couldn't give less than a shit about frame rate. I can't tell the difference between 24 fps and 60 fps. Heck, Banjo-Kazooie is still a hell of a good lookin' game to me. But not everyone is me. It's important for people who make a living reviewing games to get into the nitty gritty and speak to potential framerate issues.

I actually really like it. Though, to be fair, I've only played the Origins and Dawn of Souls versions.

Still, my favorite NES FF.

The Gamecube Fire Emblem game (Path of Radiance) will run you like $150 used, just so you know.

The Persona 4 Endurance Run remains the best thing the good folks at this site have ever done.

Whatever version's available in 2-3 years for $20

I kind of don't like them. Everything has this robotic sheen and oversaturated lighting that irks me. Late last-gen was when this trend really started and it hasn't really stopped.
