Starts bad and broken 0

Well, this game is about Lego and Star Wars. Bought it cheaply at Steam as I really like Star wars and Lego is just cute. I didn't really play Lego games before this so this should be a good introduction.Well, you start the game and get the familiar soundtrack and stuff and then you can select to start a new game and boom! you stand somewhere with obi wan and that other dude and you really don't know what to do. After some walking around it appears to be a hub of some sorts to enter the episodes...

No fun 0

Well, I played this game for 20 minutes and was not able to defeat the dummy. Partly because I'm colorblind and got the green and red stars and stones mixed up, partly because the mechanics are really confusing. It looks like tetris on it's side and you have to match stars with stones to make them dissappear. Throw some skulls in the mix and you are able to push a line towards your opponent, and if you do this good enough you win. This mechanic really stinks and is NOT FUN.Graphics are sub-par an...

Mindblowing 0

Minimalistic hypnotical game that gets you in a trance once you concentrate enough to atually last more than 5 seconds of gameplay. The music that accompanies the game fits right in and helps you to beat the closing hexagons that you have to avoid. You use only your left and right keys to move your triangle that rotates around a central hexagon finding the gap to avoid collision with the closing parts. The game has a really fast turnaround time and most games don't last much more than 20 seconds....

Racing boring 0

Quickplay reviewNever played a lot of racing games, and this one looks like one in a dozen. You race, you have your afterburner, hot cars and nice road and.. nothing more. It constantly wants me to go online, has boring interval movies that cannot be skipped so it annoyed the hell out of me. Won the first races easily so I guess they didn't really invest into AI or decent racing and have put all the focus on online racing. Which is not my thing.Final verdictArchived.[based upon 45 minutes of pla...

Hard to control 0

Platformer in which you have to guide a kind of rocket ship through mazes. Looks pretty and the levels are nice if only the goddamn thing was easier to control. Navigating the thing is just a nightmare. This really kills the game for me and I archived it away. Fortunately it was a bargain but nevertheless. Stupid.[based upon 45 minutes of play]...

Insane-ly good 0

Kinda surprised of the setting, tone and visuals of the game in a very positive sense. You basically guide a ufo through a very alien landscape and it just rocks. During your travels you pick up several pieces that enhances your ufo so you'll be able to scan, tow or shoot stuff. The game itself is a puzzle game mixed with some shooting.Like it![based upon 30 minutes play with xbox controller]...

SummaryDo not buy and play this game. This top-down shooter is as bad as they can get.Review StatusFirst Impression | Reasonable play | Solid play | Finished game | FinalPlaytime20 minutesWhy this game?I picked this game (the original and the revisited version) on Steam during the 2012 summer sale. Fortunately they were dead cheap because after about 15 minutes of play I knew I would never touch them again.StoryHorrible. That is what happened on the world you visit in Alien Shooter. The world ha...

It's OK 0

SummaryRage, the game that should be the magnus opum from ID is just a decent shooter with some nice side-touches. It is enjoyable as long as it lasts but doesn't shine or stand apart from the rest of the genre.Review StatusFirst Impression | Reasonable play | Solid play | Finished game | FinalPlaytime12 hoursWhy this game?ID, the game behind Doom and Quake releasing a new franchise in a brand new technology tree IDTech5. Required if you played Crysis 0

This game is the extension of the original Crysis and follows the story from the viewpoint of Psycho. The game plays like the original with a few enhancements to the engine. The vehicles are a bit better and the graphics are a bit sharper. Story is much more focused and sometimes makes a few leaps. Game is also shorter than the original but contains very good cinamatics. One of the best I ever saw. Definitely a winner and a must if you played the original Crysis....

RPG to the finest 0

Fallout3 took me a while to finish. According to my XFire account, it took me 80 hours to finish, and I am not really sure that every hour was recorded. The game was just too good to rush, so I definitely took a lot of time looking at stuff, killing lots of unneccessary animals and doing lot of things you don't even get achievements for. But it was all worth the while, because the experience is just too great. O I remember the first time I stepped out of the vault. Blinding it was and beautiful....
