Set up: GB HD video on iPhone 4 and iPad 1 to an ATV2 via AirPlay to 3 different Samsung HDTV's

Problem: I don't get the HD letter box aspect ratio. Instead what I see is the video filling up full screen and there is an inch cut off of the image on top and bottom. For example when I watch Brad's daily Dota show I can't see the character icons on the top of screen.

As far as Iam aware all my settings are correct on my tv's as it has no problem displaying other HD video images properly. Anyone heard of this glitch? Is there a fix?

Is there a way to download the Giantbomb MP4 files onto the iPad ? The download button only streams it as far as I can tell. Would like to be able to put the file on the device and watch it offline e.g. Out of house. Thanks
