" Basically they're holding the bombcast ransom and wanting people to pay $50 a year, basically excluding all non-amercan users who only really care about the bombcast.   Otherwise we'll get week old news every week when they partition the podcasts into two parts. Yeah, it's a dick move, and they lied. RIP bombcast.  "
Youll still get the weekly news in the hour bombcast, its just the usual hour where they talk about what they have been doing and about games in general will be partitioned and added on to the other week, your still getting two hours a week from next week. And a dick move ? everyone is still getting everything free they have been for the past 2 years, except there creating a few new stuff for subcribers. Nothing old is being charged for.

We arent entitled to anything you know, and besides people pay there bills to watch tv, why should we get everything on the internet for free when it costs to produce it ?

I dont really like to subcribe to websites for extra content, but if thats what it takes to keep giantbomb up and running then im willing to pay, its not so much in the long run.

Its the price of one game, and a video game site that will be full of people who buy alot of games we should not be complaining (as in general video games are terribly overpriced), besides i think people are just moaning about not getting everything for free, this is the real world - and in the real world, websites cost alot of money to run.

Definitly, ive been coming to this site now since the beginning, ive liked jeff and the guys since gamespot and i would happily support there site even if i wasnt going to get nothing from it, its not much money in the end its less than the price of 1 game for the year.

If i was going to want something from the site, i would like more endurance runs :P Its probably my favourite thing, and being able to watch them while going to work would be even better.

I think this was inevitable in the end as giantbomb got bigger, and the costs started to rise, and again i think im happy to pay to not make giantbomb change into the many other sites out there that is only in it for the money and not for the games and community.
