So after years of people clamouring for it (myself being one of those hopefuls), it seems that Shenmue 3 could actually happen. Just that it's on Kickstarter and they are asking for $2 Million.

So do you think we will finally see the conclusion or, worst case maybe, this gets an immense amount of funding and they split the game further and yet again can't finish the story? This game was suppose to span numerous years after it's debut originally.

Wait? Not too sound disingenuous here but how many times has this game been rereleased, ported, updated, and so on and they are still releasing this buggy? How? Especially when we have companies like Blue Point?

I've always heard that this was a great anime but I just have to ask. Is the main writer for this show the same person that did the story for Bravely Default?

@frostyryan: Hey, people may not feel the same enthusiasm as you do and that is great on both ends. You love the show and other have expressed differing opinions. Yeah, claiming something is overrated is a bit of a cop out but at the same time. The amount of people that claimed that this was one of the "best shows" lately and feeling absolutely nothing from it but boredom, I'd say, if said person thought it was overrated, that does not invalidate that persons opinion.

That being said, I've had at least half a dozen people "claim" that this would be my favourite show and all I could ever muster was an unenthusiastic sigh. I agree with others in some older cartoons did more regardless, if it was to "sell more toys". But, that also completely invalidates and insults the fanbase as much, and I'd argue, if not more then some people claiming it's "overrated". Saying it's to sell toys which, sometimes is true but if done properly can be far better than random strange idea of the week with seemingly no interesting narrative. This is all being said by someone who checked out the show and had to dredge through an entire season of what I thought garbage.

When isn't childrens' entertainment not trying to shill out needless stuff?

Yeah MK X completely wiped my save/stats 3 times over. I'm not sure if it's totally appropriate but I became so sick of it I found a mod online to back up my saves for this game...

So I've inexplicable lost my whole save data 3 times already with this game. Once after only an hour of playing and going back a half hour later shortly after release which I just assumed was caused by patches. Second was worse with it losing half the story that was completed with no patch update insight. And, third was this morning after I've nearly completed all the klassic towers and up to chapter 2 of story...

So is this happening to others and will this mean I've have to manually copy and back up the MK X hidden save file?

Edit: I should mention I'm on P.C..

Wow.. that controller. I know I would've called myself an asshole 2 years ago when I was a Rock Band fan but just why wouldn't you buy a real guitar AND Rocksmith? It's equally enthralling and has a great selection of dlc.

I've always found these "Studies" fairly interesting simply for the fact as soon as one "Study" shows one definitive answer, another springs up with a "Study" showing the exact opposite. Anybody can make a study and have it skewed to their views. I mean look at the smoking/secondhand smoking studies. People to this day claiming, regardless of what everyone knows, that secondhand smoke is a myth.

Though, I do agree with@gnosislord with his perspective.
