Prepare yourselves for some Macho Madness:

Well, it's summer in central Florida, meaning it's effing hot outside. It's funny, the dichotomy of Florida's summers vis-a-vis everywhere else. I just got back from a two-week tour of the Pacific Northwest, and during July, they all drop what they're doing to go outside end enjoy the few nuggets of sun they get throughout the year. Here, everyone pretty much stays inside for July and August, unless they are going to the beach or the springs or somewhere else where the specific objective is to cool off. Otherwise, the outdoors at this time of year are perfectly miserable.
 
Which means, obviously, that it's a good time to play some games. I just finished Bastion and wrote a review of it here. Let me know what you think. Short version: It's, uh...it's pretty good.

It's happened, I'm offically old. Having turned a tender 33 just this week, I've gotten to the point where I have too many games and not enough hours in the day to play them. The sad part is, it's July. It's not even close to the busy time of year. Yesterday, I traded in Crysis 2, Super SFIV, and AC:Brohood for Metro 2033, Bulletstorm, and some Gamestop space bucks. I just bougth Left 4 Dead 2 on my Steam account. Hey, it was six bucks, I'd be a fool not to, right? And I'm currently playing Bastion, Trenched, and eagerly awaiting From Dust and Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet. I have no idead how I'm going to get through all that before the first big Fall release of Gears of War 3. Sigh. White people problems!
