To be honest, I don't think your friend Ricky was completely off with a diary comparison. Instead of writing in a notebook for intrinsic purposes, you are able to place those thoughts on a public forum to generate a discussion and help evoke others to express similar or opposite feelings. Of course they are different in the obvious sense of one being private and the other public, but they serve a common purpose for the publisher to manifest a thought. There is nothing gay about that... Unless you pick daisies and watch Desperate Housewives, then you are the UBER GAYZORZ..

I "beat" Madden 08 last year and was pretty proud about it. I played the hell out of it with my dorm bro's and the achievements came fast. I guess I could say the first sports game I was able to "beat" was Fight Night Round 3, but with only like 5 achievements I don't really consider it a quality accomplishment.

Gears 2 was definitely amazing and I'm looking forward to playing Fable 2 in the future. Preferably when there is a big lull is releases.

Mirror's Edge is disappointing to me. I have certainly come across enough issues to significantly downgrade the fun factor.. or maybe I just suck? I would definitely welcome a sequel, but they gotta fix some shit first.

I recently finished the Watchmen and it was well worth the read (what's with that cover featuring Dr. Manhattan's ass, Sweep?!?). The Killing Joke is next for me.
