How can you be so sure when there's no way in the world you could have seen it, yet? Sure it reaks of Activision trying to push Blizzard again... (like the 20dollar horse for WoW) but seriously... StarCraft 1 -> StarCraft 2 is such a major shift towards (old school) 3D already.... that I think stereoscopic 3D COULD be an improvement.
My dad used to play Myst, Riven, Myst: Exile, Uru, Schizm, Amerzone, etc...
This morning my dad told me he started playing World of Warcraft...! because he had heard me say some pretty positive things about it (i like it, so sue me). A little disappointed he told me he had expected a more lush and beautiful looking game.
Long story short: he wants some recreational gaming.
I've been searching the net for some good alternatives... but nothing really seems to match his 'requirements': 1. good looking worlds (creative architecture, scenery, etc) 2. puzzles (like in Riven and Myst) 3. good story 4. no shooting (now that narrows it down) 5. not too platformy (he's approaching 60 you know) 6. preferably not horror themed
So now here I am... hoping one of you guys (or girls) knows a good one for my dad.
