The I've played this game for over 100 hours list

List items

  • With over 1000 hours played this is the game that inspired this list. Despite its flaws it remains my favorite game of all time. I don't think its possible to fully explore and conquer an Elder Scrolls game but I am confident I am closer than anyone and tried my hardest.

  • How big is that freakin garage?

  • With over 200 hours played on Xbox 360 and hundreds on PC as well this game keeps me coming back time and time again. I love finding new ways to advance endless mode and am constantly trying to improve. Current record is wave 42!

  • Call me a dude-bro if you want but I enjoy the multiplayer enough to keep coming back and checking out the new maps as well.

  • Before multiplayer was a thing in Mass Effect I was playing this game a lot. One of the best sci-fi stories of all time, video game or otherwise.

  • Give me an endless mode and sweet guns and you've got me. Include it with regular ass COD online modes and you double got me.

  • More of the same and better for it. I was more invested in prestige mode and played a ton online.

  • The game that got me interested and invested in Call of Duty. I bought it several months after release after many friends on xbox told me it was worth it. They were right. I have since pre-ordered every Call of Duty since and plan on doing so for a while.

  • The idea that Bethesda was going to improve upon an already great game in Oblivion was incredible wonderful idea to me. All I needed was the same mechanics and another engaging world to live in. What I got instead was fine tuned mechanics, stream lined yet still deep leveling trees and another fully built world and story to advance. I love Skyrim and enjoy both exploring the map and advancing the story with multiple created characters.

  • There is no list, website, or time stamp to verify but I know I put the time in this game to qualify for my list. Whether it be the incredible multi player with friends, no Odd Job allowed, or playing through with game shark additions, this game is one of the true classics and is one of the reasons I am in love with the gaming industry today.

  • I didn't think racing games could be improved upon in the days I was devouring this game and in many ways they haven't. Its remains some of the most fun you can have on a console.

  • Without the access to FAQs or a walkthrough it took over 100 hours to even figure what the hell was going on in this game. I loved figuring things out through friends and often the talking about this game was as fun and engaging as the game itself. Another game where I distinctly remember saying and thinking "games will never look better than this, its so real"

  • I only wish there was some metric or service keeping track of how long I played this game but I can guarantee its in the hundreds. Creating maps and using cheats were some of my favorite things in this game. Never did venture online in any of the WarCrafts. My love for these games kept me from playing World of WarCraft because I know that if I allowed myself to enter that rabbit hole I may never come back.

  • Before Call of Duty there was Halo: Combat Evolved. Playing this game with the same friend that I played GoldenEye with unlocked a feeling in my brain that hasn't really been felt since. I knew instantly that this game was special and fell in love with the story and characters as well.

  • I tried my hardest to consume any and all media involved in Halo 2. I played the game, bought the books and thumbed through the collector's edition strategy guide for months. This game is also special to me because it allowed me and my best friend to stay in contact when he went away to college. Nothing allows for such long conversation and continuing of friendship like an online party over xbox live whilst playing some of the best multiplayer of its time.

  • I love crafting and building in this game. This is one game that I enjoyed sketching up ideas of what I wanted to build when I was away from my PC. The day I finally broke down and read a wiki for this game blew my mind. The amount of content and awesome possibilities I had yet to discover or even know were possible was inspiring. I really love this game!
