That was very well said. I wish Jeff wrote more often, he's really very good.

Thank you for continuing to write about these sort of important issues Patrick. Keep it up! It's just a shame that it's so needed, this crap has got to stop.
Argh! I just bought P3P last week on my Vita too. I knew I should have waited a bit. Ah well. Anyone know the difference between the two P2s? Are they just different versions of the same game?
Yeah i did the same thing last year, I bought P3P for $20 then the next week it was $10. anywho there are 2 Different games P2: IS is the first part and P2:ET is the 2nd part.
Hah, glad I'm not the only one. Might pick them up, though two entire Persona RPGs sounds exactly like something I don't have time for, on top of NG+ P4G and P3P.
Wow that website is disgusting. There's no way I can take anything it says seriously after reading that about section.
As far as the question OP posed, sure, only if you let it overtake your life instead of making something for yourself, same as practically anything else really, from reading books to bodybuilding, any of these things are unhealthy in extreme quantities. There's nothing unique about video games that limits potential.
Here's some info on EVs and super training from a reddit post.
He answers a question in the comments about the EV resetting item: "I used a Gulpin to test it. I took note of his stats and after leveling him up once he had acquired a total of 8 extra stat points. Reseting him took away 3 of those, putting the total acquired down to 5. So yes, it seems that the reset bag strips your numbers down to its base stats."
So basically, the reset bag item resets the EVs from Super training and the random battle EVs too, which is pretty cool.
