AC:B / AC2 / AC / AC:R / AC3. Brotherhood is incredible. 3 is aggressively terrible. Very sad to see a series fall so far so fast.

Awesome, grabbed Dragon Age: Origins since I've never gotten around to playing it.

Sounds like something worth discussing in 2014.

Definitely looking forward to messing around with it once I get some time. Looks insane, Valve are such mad geniuses.

It's the opposite of what Kickstarter is supposed to be for. You're not supporting a small, homegrown art project, or indie game, or some musician getting an album released or whatever, you're giving money to a site that is already incredibly successful just so they don't have to bother selling ads for a year. What bullshit. For real, fuck them. Sell memberships or something. You're asking if I'd send you some money for the privilege of me not turning on AdBlock. That's the extent of the benefit to me. There's no product at the end of it that doesn't already exist and isn't already making a ton of money. What the fuck. If they're trying to ruin crowd sourcing for everyone else, they're doing a good job. Really sad.

Everything that happens after the Dahlia murders in L.A. Noire is complete garbage.

And I just played through Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands and that one falls into the "GAME'S OVER, GOOD NIGHT, HOPE YOU ENJOYED IT" type of sudden ending (Sniper: Ghost Warrior, Kane and Lynch, etc.), though it has an added, completely unnecessary post-credits narration that doesn't actually tell you anything. But that's fine, dumb (but fun) games are allowed to have dumb endings, I don't mind. It's games that start really strong and then just fall apart (L.A. Noire, Max Payne 3 comes close) that irk me. So disappointing!
