Underused Levels

We've all heard of the lava level, the jungle level, the ice level, the sewer level and the warehouse level. Most gamers have seen countless iterations of these settings. I personally don't think there's anything inherently wrong with using a cliché -level if it makes sense in the game's design (and especially if it still provides enjoyment), but I can't help but feel there are some other areas where we could see a player character in that haven't yet been used, or at least not used enough.

1: The Public Toilets Level

While filthy toilets have always appeared in most horror games (because poop, especially a stranger's poop, is scary!),  I don't think I've ever seen an entire game level that took place in an enormous room that only had rows upon rows of toilets.

Witness the horror of seeing other strangers defecate and forget to flush! Move forward and resist the torrent of urine coming from cigarette-clogged urinals! Recoil in horror as you realize the toilet walls aren't actually brown; they're covered by something else. It would be an excellent setting for a boss fight: Try your best to dodge the boss's attacks while keeping your feet and various other body parts out of the toilet bowls.

2: The Perfume Section Level

It looks innocent, almost harmless, but don't be fooled: The Perfume Section of the Mall of Audacity is even more lethal than the Toilets level. Populated by human beings born without the capacity to understand personal space, you must evade the incessant sprays of death as they launch into your character's nostrils. Failing to complete this level properly will make  your character smell like a bucket of flowers and attract bees, who will undoubtedly be outraged once they realize you're not actually a flower.

3: The Bedroom

Try your best to get to sleep while you're being haunted by disturbing thoughts. It's a lot harder than you think, as images from that last horror game you played flash into your subconscious just before you counted your last sheep. Ignoring the malicious sounds coming from outside your window and the strange clicking noises is not an easy feat either. If you can get through this level, your character will no longer suffer from the 'Insomnia' status effect.

4: The GIANT BOMB LEVEL

It's the ultimate Endurance Run; race against Jeff Gerstmann, Vinny Caravella, Brad Shoemaker and Ryan Davis in a quest to finish the game that's been assigned to you... alone. You have no partners. No one can post in the comments for your videos. In fact, you can't even use the internet. It's just you and the game.

The game in question?

I could go for a Giant Bomb level right about now. Someone, get this done.
