My Top 10 of 2010, in a specific order. It's a mix of time played and how much I liked it.

1. Red Dead Redemption
This game came out of left field and blew me away. I didn't even care about it until after it was out, a few friends were raving about it so I picked it up and never put it down until I had completed it.

2. Limbo
Fun and unique indie puzzle platformer. Played through it a few times, once with a room full of friends all trying to figure it out. It was short, but it was very compelling to keep playing through in one sitting.

3. Mass Effect 2
The first game was a great story with some odd game-play mechanics. They removed all the bad parts and made the good parts even better in this sequel. I can't wait for ME3!

4. Fallout: New Vegas
Despite what all the haters say, the game wasn't too buggy and quite enjoyable. Don't think it was as good as Fallout 3 but I enjoyed the game throughly.

5. Blur
If my friend Dan Amrich, Activision's OneOfSwords, never told me about this game I would have never got hooked on the Beta and later bought the full game. It was a brilliant game that is basically Mario Kart with real cars. It is incredibly fun to play against your friends online, something we could never do with Mario Kart.

6. Metroid: Other M
I actually took out and dusted off the Wii to play this game. Best Metroid game since the series went 3D.

7. Halo: Reach
The last Bungie Halo game had what I think was the best story since Halo 1.

8. Trainyard
Very challenging and mind bending puzzle game for the iPhone. A must own for those who like puzzlers.

9. Sid Meier's Civilization V
Just started playing this during the past week, so I can't put any higher in the top #10 but I've already spent way too much time playing it as-is to ignore it.

10. Infinity Blade
This is a must own game for the iPhone just for the reason to show off WHAT the iPhone can really do. This is just the beginning, can't wait to see what else they do with the Unreal 3 Engine on iOS!
