@jesus_phish: I mostly used the L1 button for dodging while attacking. Also played through the entire game plus the first 2 fights on Furier before realizing that you can charge the damn dodge to go further. NO WONDER THOSE GIANT LASERS WERE SO HARD TO DODGE
@bisonhero: I say "apparently" all the time too. It's a nice way of saying, "This is some information I came upon; I have no proof and it could all be complete bullshit."
I think it was kind of an easy prediction to make, and the ending still surprised me because it came 70 hours later and I had forgotten about all of that.
You can totally just execute looters in the street without them having a chance to even turn and face you, though. There are moments in The Division where the only way to tell the difference between "enemy" looters and regular people just scrounging for stuff in the streets is the red bar over their heads.
If I'm walking down the street in my town and I see a bunch of people with red bars floating over their heads; I think I'm within my rights to launch a sticky bomb at them and blow them to pieces.
I never cared much for the main story in these games but I was disappointed by the settlements that fill the world. They are all just build-your-own with no interesting places so far. Anyone remember the Republic of Dave? Or Oasis? Or that weird place with the super hero and super villain fighting each other?
