I heard that the controls are pretty thumbly in the PC version however you have a controller so Im not sure how that measures up, and console ports to PC are usually quite awkward. I doubt there is anything wrong with the console versions, I would imagine the Gamecube holds up slightly better due to technical graphics.

Either way Im sure you will have a decent experience with any version so you shouldnt worry that much.

I sorted it :)

Your mention of setting it to X channel reminded me that I needed to search ranges, it remember it was standard for these antennae types.
Thanks

I recently bought a Playstation 2 from Ebay (PAL if that matters) and I believe it works fine, however Im having trouble viewing it because of an awkward adapter it came with. I am not familiar with it as if i recall correctly my last PS2 had a composite cables.

RFU Adaptor
RFU Adaptor

Anyway, the adapter I recieved with my purchase is a SCPH 10072B RFU Adaptor and on all 3 of my TVs which have RFU support none of them worked when I booted the PS2 up. I tried all variations of my TV visual modes, A/V, F-A/V etc etc.

I checked the pins and they all seem in place however I think the adapter is broke.

Do you think the problem lies with my method of testing, should I get a composite adapter or should I just send it all back? All suggestions are welcome thanks.

Can anyone who browses this forum reccomend me a modern RTS game which pits nations against each other?

I am aware of games like World in Conflict and Red Alert however Im looking more of a game which looks on a broader plane of strategy, similar to Total War games. I would also appreciate it if the game has a respectable level of realism. I have tried Defcon, although its very cool its not exactly what I am looking for.

I tried asking elsewhere but I had no luck.

Below is Daisenryaku, a friend told me it is a RTS game which uses modern hardware however is there something more recent?

Any suggestions welcomed, thanks.

This thread is to discuss the online aspect of AC6 on Xbox Live. Regarding, community, player matches, tactics, loadouts, etc....

I think it would be great if we can have some GiantBomb players get together and play some ranked matches since the general AC6 community isnt exactly the largest around.

My Gamertag is Ramzah - feel free to add me if you wish to play some ACECOMBAT6

Ace Combat 6 and Armored Core 4 could use a larger playerbase.

It would be good to move out of the USA. Tokyo would be an awesome place to play through.

The combat looked boring, the enemies just stood around. Also what's the point of a quick time event which rewinds itself if you fail?

I hope they improve on this.
