HOLY SHIT. Thats all i kept saying the whole time. And for all you, "its ok", "its not GOW", look its a clone, but there are still a whole lot of original elements and a LOT of detail and a LOT of love that has been put into this project so just say, its good and have fun. Fuck some of you clowns need to appreciate this art a little more.
i recently saw that Kotaku added a weekly Video game radio talk show. I listened to a couple shows and they are not too bad(check out the interview with Epic's Cliff B.). Wish they would clean up the audio. It sounds like everyone is on a phone. Other sites are adding discussions like the Bombcast so if you want check them out. If you are a Fantasy Football player you may have heard the name Paul Charchian. He was one of the first to post online stats and predictions for FF. He also is avid Video game player who host a show here locally in the Twin Cities on vidoe games. His brother works for Microsoft, the show is sponsored by Activison, and his guest usually include some of the guys from Game Informer magaize(published here in the TC) and some local developers. Just like Kotaku, Game Informer just recently started doing podcasts about 2 months ago. if you listen to Video Games weekly(site above) a lot of those guys are also on here. Show is completely different and is more in line of how the Bombcast flows. I ve had a 4850 with 1gb for a year and nothing has come close to even making me want to get another card. Every game is always at max settings without any frame rate problems. Im playing at 1680x1050 if you are trying for higher res that would make a difference.
" For me it would be F.E.A.R. 2. The original was great on so many levels, but it's sequel was just all over the place and missed the mark on damn near everything. It wasn't original. It wasn't scary or creepy. It was just uninspired and bland all around. The only positive thing I can think of from F.E.A.R. 2 was when you blew that guys head off point blank with his own shotgun. Then there's the ending, which was just like "dude wait what? WTF???" "
Agree with everything you said except the blandness comment. The sound, levels and graphics are awesome its just ...oh wait you are right bland is a good analysis.
FINALLY conquered GOW on normal difficulty. Is it the hardest game on normal difficulty, and has anyone tried to finish the game in 5hrs for the trophy achievement, i cant see how that would be possible.
I don't know if its hard or just endurance that's needed, but damn it was quite a workout.
