I'm new to Clash Royale, but would love to join any new GB clans that are opening up.

Awesome. I'm new to this, pretty new to MOBAs in general, I played about ~30hrs of DotA. But seeing Dan come around on the genre due to this game's simpler approach has made me want to give it a shot. I have been enjoying it so far.

Hope to see y'all out there.

I was 14 and had found the key to my parent's liquor cabinet. It was a Friday night and I had a friend stay over. We played N64 til my parents went to bed. Then we snuck down stairs and I retrieved that magical key that I had discovered hidden under a wooden duck on one of the top shelves of our book case. Obviously neither of us knew a whole lot about liquor, but for some reason we knew that orange juice went well with vodka. So I got a few shot glasses and the OJ from the fridge and we sat on the floor sampling the wares. Looking back, it almost makes my mouth water in that pre-vomit nausea way. We each took about 6 or 7 shots, of clear liquors, brown liquors, and even some really strange tasting things that I would later learn were liqueurs (like grenadine and baily's), and chased them all with orange juice. After we decided (al biet a little late) that we had had enough, we went outside to smoke a cigarette that my friend had stolen from his mom's pack. I can remember we were having a really hard time trying to balance our asses and sit on the back of my sister's hatchback BMW. We were laughing and having a good time, but after the cigarette, we decided that we should probably go to bed.

We hadn't hardly settled in to our respective beds when my friend got up and went to bathroom and vomited. I chuckled to myself and thought how cool I was that I was able to keep my liquor down, when suddenly the urge overtook me and we passed each other at the bathroom door, him going out, me going in. The next day his mom picked him up early because he had to go take his driving test for his driver's permit. Soon after, my mom discovered the horrors that had been splattered in bathroom and I convinced her that I had gotten 'sick' in the middle of the night. She made me soup and let me play N64 all day.

I didn't drink anymore for a few years until I was 16 and even then only beer until I was 18 or 19, and I never touched that damn liquor cabinet key again.

@bisonhero:

Hmm, well i definitely have been playing with Wrath of the Lamb. But I am pretty sure there was a way to download the vanilla game from my humble bundle library, I might do that. So WOTL makes the game harder? or more complicated?

Now that Patrick has beaten Yama and has ended his Spelunking with Scoops feature, he says he thinks the next game is going to be BOI. I'm pretty excited about this, because I've had the game for a while, but never sunk my teeth in to it, despite being a huge rougelike fan. I am changing that now.

This weekend I am going to be playing mostly BOI, so far I have had some decent success, I got an item that made my tears green and explode, I stomped my way thru the game and beat Mom for the first time, unlocking both Kane and Magdalene in the process. So I am getting the hang of it. Now I have access to the next levels.

But I still don't know much about the items. Just curious, what items would you say are the must haves? As in, you would never pass them up or swap them for some other item.

Besides this, any other tips, or just discuss thoughts on Patrick starting the game as a daily feature?

Awesome read.

I want to clarify something, I was one of those people who was saying "Dayumn, Patrick is OP." But that was not a knock against Patrick. In fact, quite the opposite. Patrick was OP because he was good at the game. The only reason he was able to have such great weapon upgrades, stats and levels, was because he played smart. He didn't lose many of his bloodstains (souls), and therefore had the ability to get levels and upgrade weapons and turn his character in to a walking nuke.
