I think the Mount and Blade demo is still out there.  I love that game, even though I never really found out what potential the game had because I only kept replaying the demo.

Yea, of everything listed above Mount & Blade seems like one that I can still get into easily. It doesn't fit the list theme too well being such a recent release. But I put it on here anyway to shame myself into playing it :)
