I give up. I'm just going to have to accept that John is going to do the whole "just you wait"/spoiler stuff. If the others don't care, that's fine, but I think a better way to approach it would be to bring something up like Kakyoin's mirror world comment later when it's appropriate. Just my two cents, love the show otherwise.
So just to point out, Rose from Street Fighter is based off Lisa Lisa. Jojo's is crazy influential! Great podcast as always.

I love the show, but I really think John should work on resisting the spoilers, even small ones. You never know what might resonate with someone, and I'd rather hear Lucy and Jeff's takes when they come to things themselves.
This is my favourite piece of media ever, and so needless to say, in thrilled. The only thing I would be is to John: I think you should do your best to to refrain from the "just wait for the _____" as much as possible. I say this as someone who would find that to be a very difficult thing to do, but I think the twists and turns of Jojo's would land better.
That being said, I love the extra context that John is giving to some of the things that come up. I think adding bits of trivia is a really fun way to talk about Araki's wonderful peculiararities. Fantastic episode, u can't wait for more!
I understand Danny's pain. My oma was from Northeast Scotland, opposite Orkney. Scotland didn't make it in the game! I understand that it was full of hostile Picts at the time, but man!
