I answered your poll! I played Tomb Raider 1 which made my jaw drop and I also felt a bit of vertigo in a certain scene (I did finish it), the WipeOut series was also killer and I still have the discs in their jewel boxes. Unfortunately the PS died due to overheating and I couldn't take it back, my room had the water heater in it and I think someone leant on the PS whilst I was away for the weekend and switched it on. After that point it wouldn't spin up any CDs. I couldn't return it, because of the distance/cost involved.

As far as Quake 1 goes though, the difference between software mode and using the 3DFX patches simply blew me away at the time. So much difference in lighting (candles etc) and the definition on-screen, I couldn't put it down and I finished that too.

All of the emoticons have disappeared for me, I'm fairly sure they were visible before:

Edge shows a broken picture, then the URL which you have to browse to yourself for each one.

Chrome is the same.

Firefox shows the link without the broken picture, but oddly a small number such as :animal do work.

This seems odd, but unfortunately makes it a lot less useful.

Just wondered if this was part of a larger problem and if someone had it on their to-do list?

Since bigsocrates mentioned it and on a slightly different tangent (sorry) my OG Xbox One connects to the network by WiFi and I get really good download speeds. We're on uncapped 80Mbs (in the UK British Telecom advertises an average of 67 Mbs which is fair, considering the upstream too) whereas my PC is limited to 5Mb. This I believe has nothing to do with Steam or BT, it's a limitation introduced by the fact that I have a wired connection into some power plugs which provide networking to the router.

I first learnt of this on the BBC's website and this was my immediate reaction. Not being smart or anything, but you'd have to be insane to pay that much money for a game. What percentage of that would be the cost of producing the game in the first place?

@nicksmi56: I bought a Steam Controller and it arrived on time FWIW. I do like that device, including the haptic controls.

I didn't see a reservation button so I put it on my wishlist, no financial commitment at least until I can decide. I do have too much hardware though.

Would it be possible to sort BombCasts to not be the first option in the list of polls? When the Infinite poll breaks (i.e. doesn't allow choices), if a Bombcast is first then it seems to get played by default. It's good content but at about 2.5 hours, they're long and it's happened at least twice in the last two days. This just seems like a simple idea to stop this happening, until some time can be put in to make the polls more reliable.
