I haven't blogged in a while and I figured why not update it since I have reason to. So yeah, plenty of awesome games have been released lately, and I managed to pick up Dead Space, Gears of War 2 and Fallout 3 over the last month or so. It's been great sinking my teeth into those games, and I was having a blast playing Fallout today, and then something odd... I notice some weird vertical out of synch lines in the picture when I'm playing, so I turn the machine off. Next time I boot my elite up, my worst fears are met. One red ring, bottom right corner. E74 error apparently, which is a straight-up hardware failure it would appear. The piece of shit isn't even a year old.

So yeah... that kind of sucks... hard. Especially at this time of year, I hope I get the thing back before christmas or this year will suck. The race is on.

It's kind of weird how little warning I got though, since the 360 isn't very old at all (got it just before christmas last year) and then today just that one blip when playing Fallout 3, not a huge blip at that, but noticeable. Then death.

Oh well, time to get the repair order in and ship this hunk of crap off. I guess I can sink my teeth into some little-played PS2 games I own. Woo.
