I notice that a significant number of you think that it is a good idea to go on video game message boards and open up sad, pathetic threads about what you perceive is the mythical, magical creature of "girl". Clearly, you think, this is the place to do that. 

 

As long as it's all kept in the "off-topic" section, it's not really an issue. Anyone can turn off or on each major forum, so you could just turn that one off. 
 
But yeah, I kinda agree at the same time that it's dumb.

I'd appreciate it if someone would start about ten relationship threads just because of this stupid post.

 I can't figure out if your asking the topic creators to stop making the threads asking for advice about women or girls in which case i agree completely. Or if your having a go at people who make sexist remarks and jokes in those threads in which case i disagree and you need to stop being a sissy.

Meh, people can talk about what they want, so whatever.  Personally, though, I don't care for that shit.

I wish those threads were treated the same way as people asking for health advice, ie. insta-lock. Unfortunately, these pleas for help are cunningly designed as "discussion", an excuse to make dumb generalisations and even more idiotic jokes. If I were a woman I'd be inclined to cut some nerds right now.

There may be better places to go, but if people want to start threads on here about girls and relationships I don't have a problem with it, although OP, I don't think you actually read the thread on "the mythical creature of girl", it's not about what you think it is.

A new study by research firm NPD has found that the average age of gamers is now 32.

The report, titled Gamer Segmentation 2010, is based on an online survey completed by nearly 19,000 people. It found that the oldest gamers, with an average age of 42, fit into the Avid PC Gamers and Offline PC Gamers categories.
