Metal_Gear_Sunny's last update: I'm gonna look for a movie to watch on the Netflix streaming thing. After that, I'll finish up Ratchet and Clank.

The reason why I ask this question is because earlier today, I was playing Ratchet and Clank. I was doing the arena battles. There was one battle that took me a while to complete, and just when I was just about to beat it, the game froze. You cannot imagine the amount of shock and anger that I felt in my mind. I then took out my cell phone, and hit record. With a little help from my friend and sister, I was able to make this quick video. Good thing I had my friend over as a witness!

So back to the question.  Have you ever had a game freeze on you with bad timing? If so, what game, and when?

Before I tell you what I've been playing for the week, I would like to explain my blog title. Right now, a lot of things are happening. Fall for me is the busiest season of the year. Basketball season starts (and yes, I play basketball), leaves start falling. And when leaves start falling, I start raking. When I start raking, I get money. I then use that money to buy games. Rinse and repeat. Believe it or not, this stuff takes time out of my day, which means less time on Giantbomb. If you see me on less, this is why. It's for the better, I think. I need to do something better with my life then come here all day. Giantbomb has fucked my mind over.

I actually enjoy playing as Clank more than Ratchet.

I'm not saying that I'll be gone for a significant amount of time. Just a little less than I have been. It's impossible to stay away from this website and it's great community! Anyway, enough with this stuff. I'm boring you people to death, I can tell. I've been playing Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack In Time. Oh. My. God. This game is amazing. Just take what you know from the past R&C games and improve it, add some puzzle solving elements and you have this. Magic. This is the most addicting game I've played for the year, and so far, I'm enjoying it more than I did Uncharted 2. Most of that has to do with my taste in games, I'm more of a platformer gamer, and although I enjoy shooters, I don't like them as much as platformers. I'm about 5 or 6 hours into the campaign, and it's keeping me hooked for the most part. The story is good, and missions are really fun to do. The great dialog and presentation compliments the awesome gameplay. But right now, I'm stuck on a Clank puzzle. I will not skip it, and I will not use an FAQ. I'm gonna figure it out on my own, the HARDCORE way!

I really feel like this game isn't getting much attention because of other games that are out right now. (Modern Warfare 2, for starters) If you have a PS3, rent this game, or even better, buy it. I promise you that you won't regret it!

Back to what I said in my first paragraph, I'm starting to get paid by raking leaves! Expect me to buy more games now. Once I get enough money, I will buy Borderlands. Anyone up for some Co-op in the PS3 version? Leave a comment below if you're interested. More games means more playtime and more playtime means more long blogs! We are all winners, in that respect.

With nothing else to add, it's time for me to go do homework. Stupid Spanish. I hate you so much. Until next time, fuck Spanish.

EDIT - A Change In Mind

Dude, this looks awesome.
Dude, this looks awesome.
You know how I said I was gonna buy Borderlands? Well, I'm starting to change my mind. I'm thinking about buying Brutal Legend instead, and this is where I need help. The reviews for Brutal Legend are all over the place. Some say it's an awesome action game, and some say it's a bad RTS. To be honest, I think the game looks really good. The RTS stuff looks solid. But that's what I've seen, not played. What should I do?

As you know, Giantbomb does a video feature called Question Of The Week. This week had arguably the best videos ever since the feature started. And yet, people in the comments have nothing to say but hate. Why? Because too many of them expect to see a perfect video. First of all, if you don't like Question Of The Week, meaning it is "painful" to watch for you, why do you watch it? You know it will end up being a waste of time so why do it? What make this worse is that all people who find it painful and still watch it just comment "Painful as usual". Why did you find it to be bad? What ever happened to constructive criticism? Also, the feature is made by the users. You aren't always going to get the humor.

And as I understand, these videos are pretty much meant to be dumb. It's retarded fun. If you don't like the user's videos, please at least give them some advice. I'm so tired of seeing "Horrible as usual" and other hateful comments on there. It's just as bad as reading Youtube comments. Actually, that's exactly what it has turned into.

Alright, I just got finished playing a game of Uncharted 2 with the most immature person I've ever played with. It was a matchmaking game, thankfully this guy is not on my friends list. Anyway, the game starts, and right away he starts complaining about how people are always killing him from behind, how everyone always uses shot-guns, etc. It doesn't take long for someone to do exactly what he was talking about, and when that happened he got pissed. He started using the generic insults such as "gay", "fag", and all those lousy terms. The thing that really bothered me was that I started walking beside him, trying to help him out and trying to kill whoever is killing him. Right when we started shooting him he yelled "I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU DON'T GET OUT OF MY WAY!!!" At that point, I just wanted to pull out my Rock Band microphone and yell right back. Instead, I let him get killed by himself. I didn't help him at all after that.

Just to give you an idea of how much complaining he was doing, it reminded me of Darksydephil. He was complaining and bitching about every single little thing that happened in the game, and it reminded me how smart I am as a person. Sure I sometimes get mad while playing online, but I don't yell "DUDE YOU'RE SUCH A FAG!!!!11!" at anyone. You get killed in games. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, that's just how it goes.

And I'm pretty sure that dude was older than me, too. What a way to set an example, bro.

I guess it would have to be Guitar Hero Metallica. Neversoft spends little to no effort with their band tie-ins and it definitely shows. All they really do is make character models and the charts and slap it altogether and call it a game. There really isn't much to add to that.
