I didn't think this day would come where I would do my weekly blog about video games and have nothing to write. I haven't been playing Plants vs. Zombies because of Uncharted 2, which is a real bummer. Speaking of Uncharted 2, I beat that. I won't spoil it, but the ending is really good. There's something odd that happened during the multiplayer, but I won't blog about it because of one reason. This is where I shamelessly advertise that thing I was involved in. If you follow me on twitter, or read my status you would already know this. For those who don't, keep reading. I did a podcast. It's this little thing called Minor Issues, you may have heard of it. Or may not, depending how much of a Giantbomb nerd you are. Anyway, I recorded an episode last night and I discussed what I would've been blogging today on there. But now that I told my story there, why would I re-write it? Don't you wanna hear my wonderful pubic voice? No? Too bad. That's the only way you're gonna hear that crazy thing that happened while I was playing the multiplayer. (And no, it wasn't that ass I played before)  Now you're probably asking, "Gee Sunny, that sounds great! Where can I get a link to such a podcast?" Well, you can't. Not right now at least. We're still in the process of editing it and such. Hopefully, it will be up by next week? Maybe? I don't know. But I will notify you all once this becomes available.

Now to save myself from sounding like a dick, there are many fine guests on this episode. Many of them...no wait, all of them are my friends on the site, and it was really cool talking to them. Who are these people you ask? Well, they include...

In terms of the actual podcast, I'd say it's pretty great. We speak a wide range of topics, and have wonderful and awkward discussions about them. Now there's one thing I forgot to tell you. I have been misleading you. I'm pretty much the shy one on the podcast. I didn't talk a whole lot, so if you want to listen to that podcast just for me, you'll be disappointed. But those other dudes are teh bomb. Listen to it for them, not me. I'm just a Sunny.

Why am I making a blog about this? Well one, I have nothing to blog about. Two, it's my first podcast, and my 14 year old energy can't keep the excitement in. And three, I like advertising in annoying ways for the hell of it. So if you want some of your life back from reading this, I'm sorry.

Until next time where I actually have something to blog about, peace!

Alright, I just got finished playing a game of Uncharted 2 with the most immature person I've ever played with. It was a matchmaking game, thankfully this guy is not on my friends list. Anyway, the game starts, and right away he starts complaining about how people are always killing him from behind, how everyone always uses shot-guns, etc. It doesn't take long for someone to do exactly what he was talking about, and when that happened he got pissed. He started using the generic insults such as "gay", "fag", and all those lousy terms. The thing that really bothered me was that I started walking beside him, trying to help him out and trying to kill whoever is killing him. Right when we started shooting him he yelled "I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU DON'T GET OUT OF MY WAY!!!" At that point, I just wanted to pull out my Rock Band microphone and yell right back. Instead, I let him get killed by himself. I didn't help him at all after that.

Just to give you an idea of how much complaining he was doing, it reminded me of Darksydephil. He was complaining and bitching about every single little thing that happened in the game, and it reminded me how smart I am as a person. Sure I sometimes get mad while playing online, but I don't yell "DUDE YOU'RE SUCH A FAG!!!!11!" at anyone. You get killed in games. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, that's just how it goes.

And I'm pretty sure that dude was older than me, too. What a way to set an example, bro.

I guess it would have to be Guitar Hero Metallica. Neversoft spends little to know effort with their band tie-ins and it definitely shows. All they really do is make character models and the charts and slap it altogether and call it a game. There really isn't much to add to that.

Call me crazy but I really want to play Lego Rock Band. Why? Well, there are two very good reasons.

1. Track List - Dude, have you seen that list? Queen, Jimi Hendrix, Elton John, Europe (Dude, the Final fucking Countdown), The Police, and Tom Petty. I consider those the big ones, but there are more. I think I'm forgetting a certain group. Oh yeah! Foo Fighters. Who could forget? How could I forget? Speaking of that, in the song "Breakout", you break people out of ice with the power of rock! This is not at all what the song is about, but hey, it's clever. You know, any music game that has a Foo Fighters song I will play, with the exception of DJ Hero. Stacked Actors was one of the reasons I played Guitar Hero Metallica, in case you were wondering. I mean, what can I say? Their songs are too addicting.

2. My sister thinks it's funny - I guess the intention was to make the game appeal to younger audiences, and it worked. When I showed my sister the trailer for the game, she burst out laughing. She's been interested in the game ever since, and it's finally out and we are lacking in money. By "we" I mean me because I know my sister nine year old sister won't buy it. Anyways, if they did their work right, I should be able to blast on expert drums while my sister plays on "Super Easy" guitar with no problems, right? I've noticed with Rock Band 2, the track was slowed down because she was playing on an easier difficulty. My only complaint is that I know she will constantly pick "So What?" by Pink. I will pick "Breakout" every time she does that.

So that's my random blog for today, hope you enjoyed it and thanks for reading my stupid shit!

I just wanted to quickly state my opinions on the ads for Dragon Age Origins that are on Giantbomb. This is really how ads should be done. Most video game websites (I'm not mentioning any names here) just slap on some generic banner ads and call it a day. But Giantbomb's way of doing ads grabs my attention. Sure, they do have those banner ads, but they also have those hilarious photoshoped ads. Some were user created, by the way. Which brings me to my next point of holding contests relating to the product. It's a great way of promoting the game, while giving away a little something, and it gives us users something fun to do in the process.

So, hats off to you wonderful guys at Whiskey Media. You guys have earned more of my respect by these ads, and whatever you do, don't stop what you're doing! This stuff is great. It brings fun to advertisement, and those are two words I would never use in a sentence. Keep up the great work, duders.
