If they give it the H3 treatment then marketing-wise yes. Not to come off as a fanboy but none of the other franchises you mention have close to half a million players every day. Will it be the "best" game of '10? That is up to individual perception. Will it be the best selling game of '10? Definitely a contender.

Well yeah, I'd like to get everything free. That said I'm not mad at paying for it.

Is monster hunter worth it if I won't be playing with anybody?

Help me spend my money. I'm relatively new to the PSN and would like to know what is worthwhile for download. I picked up R&C Quest for Booty and Final Fantasy Tactics but that is it so far. Ideally I'd like to get a game for each system. Suggestions anyone? Thanks in advance.

If you've seen the monsters you've seen the worst of it. From there on its just the tension of dealing with them.

The first ones that stick in my head were either Zork or Bard's Tale on an old green monochrome Apple IIe. Before that it was just pushing buttons and pretending to play the Atari or Texas Instrument.
