" Alright, I'm sorry to be the guy who makes a thread asking a question a google search can solve, but I drudged up a list of changes DICE made to the beta before the final build, and found some interesting notes on spotting.  I'll try and redeem myself by at least sharing my results:

Added an overheat to spotting to prevent spot and order spamming.
Spotting now requires the player be aiming significantly closer to the target.

So, spotting is just much harder, and can't be done as often now.  Pretty sure that explains why it wasn't working for me like it did in the beta; I was spamming that button whenever I had a chance, because it'd usually end up hitting one or two guys.  As someone who sucks, I liked that...but I can understand why they changed it. :)  So, uh...what do you guys think?  Was it more useful and handy during the beta, or in the final game? "
It was definitely more useful in the beta since you could spam it. But because of that, it pretty much was a "cheap" tactic. Kinda made actually looking for people redundant. =P It was indefinitely useful when your entire team is holding on bottleneck route and spam the spot to locate targets.  Though its still viable and useful in the final build. Definitely makes the sniper rifle and scoped attachments more useful since you can't spam it nearly as much. "
Didn't Jeff say there was a special "spotting scope" too that auto-spots? Seems like that scope would be much more useful now. "
I don't recall, but I do notice there was a special spotting thing for the sniper rifle, so I'd assume that would be the case.

" @Meteora:  Great Suggestion when we have more people I will definitely do that, I'm thinking the squad names should be "T-Rex" and "Grizzly Bear"  "
That's cool. If you wanted to complicate the gamertag then you could assign callsigns as well like "T-Rex One" or "Grizzly Bear Four". In some cases it might simplify things if you can't pronounce someone's name, but I'm doubtful that would be the case.

And whats with T-rex and Grizzly bears on GiantBomb? I remember the background wallpaper during E3 was those two fighting each other, that's about it.

I have a suggestion to make.

For 360 owners; we should have two distinctive squads. There could be something like the "Bomb" and "Duder" company; referring to the squads we are in. Seeing how the 360 can bypass the squad chat with Party Chat; we could cram in 8 players in one game (albeit it is a bit more difficult to pull off numerically and technically). I figure that it would be good to know what the hell which squad is doing what and so refer to ourselves by squad names.

Or just go with someone simple like Team Blue or Team Red.

" Nope.  Besides that, think about how many people would just pirate that shit.  Though if they do somehow have a working port then I don't see why they couldn't just sell it on Steam or something and not having to waste spending money on the physical retail box/disc. Having people pirate the game actually increases publicity; even though its got a negative effect that developers don't like.  ... *shrugs* "
There are those who already have pirated this game too. "
True, but numerically the pirates are based off on PCs than the 360. For MW2 the number of pirates on PC were somewhere along the lines of something crazy like 4 million, but the pirates on the 360 only numbered perhaps around 50,000 - 100,000.

Not sure if anyone managed to get a pirate copy of any PS3 game running yet.

Unless you meant something else.

I play on the Xbox 360. Gamertag is XenoizOscarMike

Primarily play as a medic and air mechanic whenever riding on a Black Hawk.

Oh. And you can only have three characters for the BFBC2 clantag.

For you, I think you're better off with the MMN. However, if you're huge on rezzing your squad mates or something, the AR could make a difference between life and death when running out of cover to rez and then heading back.

Make some friends or join a clan. Not all clans are militaristic-orientated, some are just casual fun but with some teamwork involved. Just inquire about their clan and shit and ask if you can join up. There are lots of clans that are just starting up or transferring from older Battlefield titles and need recruits.

Perfect Dark is going to be released soon in HD. Though I don't know if its 800 points or 1200 points.
