Undeniable one of the best materials on GiantBomb.

Good thing I pretty much left that GameSpot shithole...

I'm all hyped up. I wonder when they'll get to releasing actual trailers and info for COD:MW2 though.

Damn, it sounds -really- customizable for a console shooter. To me it seems like a blend of Call of Duty 4 and Team Fortress 2 together. I'm willing to bet that Killzone 2 is one of the biggest reasons to get a PS3; this coming from a Xbox 360 fanboy.

So I was just randomly browsing on Mygamercard.net and came across the "celebrity" (gaming celebrities, anyways) leaderboards. It simply tracks down who has the most gamerpoints/gamerscore for the Xbox 360. I'm not sure if it only counts registered accounts on the site but whatever:

http://www.mygamercard.net/celebboard.php

1. Momie - 109422 GS (Programmer, Spliter Cell series, Ubisoft)
2. Zubbie - 104245 GS (Xbox Live Operations)
3. Mad Massey - 82098 GS (Designer, Certain Affinity)
4. DuvalMagic - 77955 GS (President of Gearbox Software, developers of Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway)
5. BlitzedKraig - 76917 GS (Director of Design, Capcom US & UK)
6. Waylander73 - 75305 GS (Producer, Rare Ltd.)
7. GibGirl - 74355 GS (Software Developer in Test, Xbox)
8. irql - 73555 GS (Xbox Launch Team)
9. Hkysk8r 187 - 72880 GS (Designer, Call of Duty series, Infinity Ward)
10. GiantBombing - 71764 GS (Co-founder, GiantBomb) <<<<< That's Jeff representin'

I think Ryan is ranked 18th as "nachoboss" with 63453 GS. I don't know what is Brad or Vinny's gamertag so I didn't try finding them (no offense or anything). We're rooting for you both (Brad and Vinny included)! Moar pointz is needed! REPRESENT!

I like the visual appeal to it, but then again it won't feel quite as a big upgrade compare to NXE.

I'll have to be critical about Epic's management on the patches; needlessly updating it over and over again with slight degrees of improvement. Not to mention that they released the game with a buggy multiplayer. HOWEVER I'll have to commend them for caring for the game; as some companies simply do not give a total fuck about a game after they've released it whether or not it was bugged out. Epic has got its priorities right with patching out the game to fix it. Kudos to Epic.

Lookin' good Jeff! Show those cats how it's done!

I've played this game religiously for half the year in 2008. I've stopped playing briefly when most of my friends have went off to play other games and when I began playing WoW. But I keep coming back for the SP; it's just pure awesomeness. The game has offered me the first sample of a 7th generation graphics; I've been stuck in the 6th generation for too long.

I'll hail it as the best game I've ever played and owned; and I think it was one of the best games I've ever gotten in my life (I'm normally terrible at picking out games).

"This sucks for waiting, but I'd rather take a polished Final Fantasy game than a rushed product and be disappointed. Looks like they're heading for Blizzard Entertainment's way of developing games; release it when they feel like it (i.e. when it's done and ready).

Well I can wait, I suppose this year's highlight will be COD:MW2 for me. Last year was GTA IV and the year before was COD4. FFXIII for 2010."

I agree, true SE has done this in the past, but they've came out with a good product in the end and I'm sure FFXIII will be awesome.

There are alot of games to play until then, so I'm not worried at all.

Take your time SE, but not 'too' much time.

Yes. Indeed. Look at Duke Nukem Forever for example...
