Zell knowing all these random facts about post-tech was indeed always weird. He's like Michelangelo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, he's a total goofball who occasionally has these small bouts of genius. Or maybe post tech studies was the only class where he paid attention? I've always liked this game even when so many of the plot devices were incomprehensible. I'd gladly play it again if I had the time.

It really takes a sick and twisted mind to make such beautiful works of art possible. Thank you good sir.

Speaking of BOLA night 2 anyone else notice that dude in the Comic Vine shirt standing on the bar side facing hard cam? What a dork, his Giant Bomb shirt must have been in the laundry or something ^_^. But seriously Stage Two of BOLA 2015 was the most fun I've ever had at a wrestling show. If you want to get a sense for the future of wrestling as an art form look no further than PWG. I wrote my fresh reactions like almost 2 months ago in this thread. Favorite tournament match for me might have to be Speedball v Drew Galloway. Now I can relive it all on beautiful DVD... Every dude who performed that night put it all on the line and there was not a weak match on that card. Not just the wrestlers even the freaking promoters put their well being at risk for that event (and naturally fucked themselves up in the process). Again if we want to have a Tag Team match of the year then there was nothing but awesome ones that entire weekend. As much as it pains me to admit it the only thing missing on night 2 was the shitty little champ. Was the RoH date Roderick Strong had to fulfill even any good? Probably not because he suuuuucks.

Gintama - That latest episode is AMAZING. I was dying of laughter by the end. Not only was it hilarious but underneath all of the comedic insanity it also manages to have a sympathetic tale about being shy and lonely. Not really digging the music in the new intro but the art style is pretty cool. It seems like they put a lot less Cooks characters than they typically do in these OPs.

They have some talent come in and out of the NXT pond but I think other than Bayley, Tyler Breeze is the last STAPLE character of the past year or two of that product. Job guys come and go and the indie stars have been getting fast tracked like crazy but Tyler Breeze has been there making it happen on the heel end of NXT this entire time. Even his more recent matches were good. He's like the John Cena of NXT...except not. Sort of bummed that Breeze is moving on to a show I don't watch but I suppose it's now or never for him. I do think he's a great wrestler however I also think I've had as much as I can take of that gimmick and I don't think his presence will impact story lines in a meaningful way on the main show. Hope he finds success but I'm not holding my breath.

Haikyuu is still pretty good. I'm not too into the soundtrack personally but otherwise that's a great sports anime. I'm way more into these characters than I was with the ones in Kuroko's Basketball for example. It's a way cooler duo main character dynamic in my honest opinion.

One Punch Man continues to be great. In a way it sort of reminds me of some of the fake manga you see conceived in Bakuman. By that I mean it seems like a concept that is too cool to even exist but luckily it does and we're all reaping the benefits of being able to watch it in motion.

I could go either dubs or subs on the stuff that has a decent English voice track but I mostly watch subs concurrently. I also watch a handful of American cartoons all of which have some stellar voice acting so there's that... I don't think I've ever truly liked the English dubs for any of the long running shounen battle epics with one exception. YuYu Hakusho is nearly unwatchable in Japanese in my opinion. I have no idea what happened with the voice direction back then but something about that original audio just does not hold up today.

Same thing has been happening on my PC. Windows 8.something, latest Firefox. Really weird how the tab stays glued to the "Latest" side of the slider but refuses to order them in that way.

I was under the impression that WWE hates technical wrestling given their current talent pool so a few of these guys seem like questionable prospects for NXT tryouts. More likely it's Triple HHH continuing to create something with a different feel from the main product. I don't know it seems like in Vince's eyes the top guys need to be American and have some sort of background in professional sports. If you're foreign and/or have only been wrestling for most of your life then "Fuck off, we need an entertainment sensation for ESPN to report on, not some indie darling who can actually wrestle. WE MAKE MOVIES!" Kevin Owens is a rare breed but I'm still of the mind that he is TOO GOOD for that company to be allowed to book, although he's probably making sweet money.

Should we have another thread for this? I'm not on twitter but I'm pretty sure Jeff has zero interest being a part of the promotion of bad video games. I find it distasteful for one reason in particular. Which is that Dr. Tracksuit isn't just a gimmick that Jeff pulled out of nowhere, that's a nickname Ryan dropped on him due to his tendency for wearing tracksuits to the Big Live Live Show after parties, among other social outings I'm sure. Jeff ran with the character perfectly once PAX wrestling started becoming a thing and I always like to believe part of it was to honor his good friend and all around great guy Ryan Davis. Sure it may be funny to talk about the "sanctity" of that GFB character, but I personally think it's lame for Dr. Tracksuit to show up on anything other than Giant Bomb, PAX, and maybe VGCW if 2k16 gets it's creation shit together.

Haven't watched any wrestling since Takeover Respect but I did see Edge in an episode of The Flash as the villain Atom Smasher. He didn't have many lines and he gets CG'd for a lot of the episode. Meh, he was fine.

Actually I just looked up a clip of The New Day interrupting Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton. God bless their hearts, it should be the most baby face move in the world to interrupt an Orton promo because holy fuck is he boring. No matter what comes out of his mouth it's boring. Like it's baffling to me that he still gets pushed just because he's been a staple for the past 10 years of WWE that I wasn't even watching. And in case I need to type it out, The New Day are the best thing.
