Say what you will about Chyna's trajectory in life, she still stands as a memorable piece of the attitude era that is somewhat less embarrassing to think back on than some of the goofy shit they were doing back then. Her presence made the crude antics of DX that much cruder by virtue of her being a lady acting as the straight man of the group and she was awesome at that role. When she just beat the shit out of men I remember thinking it was great. Her overpowering other "Divas"(ugh) was less great but mostly fine as far as I remember. It's almost poetic that she passed so close the moment that title/term for women wrestlers was retired, I'd like to think of her simply as a wrestler. May she rest in peace.

Lucha Underground is just an awesome TV show. Although I live in L.A. I feel little desire to attend those tapings because as great as the wrestling is it's the cohesion of the cut scenes and commentary that make this an amazing thing to watch week to week.

Not the best match that Aerostar and Drago have had but it was okay in the end. Neither luchador is the greatest in the world but they're good enough to play these fantastic characters. I thought it was pretty smart how the producers chose not to edit Aerostar's botch. Stryker and Vampire played it off remarkably well. I question the idea of giving the medallion to Aerostar. I figured he was simply a prophet or emissary for the destiny of the seven tribes and Drago would be one of the chosen ones.

Next week Johnny Mundo and Cage... in a cage... This was bound to happen.

Trios match was dope. I think Dario Cueto is a genius booker(even though he's just an actor) by the way he's been forming these unlikely teams. Jack Evans still showing why he's one of my favorite wrestlers. Greatest luchador in the world. Based on Sinestro's work in the ring he probably deserves the extra strength from his fellow homunculi.

The main event was every bit the big men smashing into each other of a match that I could have ever hoped for. Both characters are legit, both wrestlers are legit, both managers are legit. I could not be happier with how this turned out and I'm hungry for more of this feud. They're going to war!

The Old King has been kicking my ass every time. I feel like I need an arsenal of good weapons and extra health and armor just to stand a chance against him because he's got a lot of health and insane waves of bullet hell.

Anyone know if there is a secret third level ? ^^

Haven't found one but if it exists it must have something to do with the small empty room with two mine carts on a rectangular set of tracks that run over a pit of acid. Not talking about the big empty room with invisible tracks that lead to the Arcane Gunpowder. I believe that has something to do with building the gun that can kill the past.

Finally finished the first "season" of Ace of Diamond, which is quite a lot of episodes. It's great. I had a feeling it would be if I ever got around to watching it and it lives up to my expectations. Doesn't surpass them but it was genuinely enjoyable for the most part. It is surprising the amount of corners that get cut in the animation and pacing considering it is a MadhouseXProduction I.G. joint though I guess even that studio needed to keep busy with something on the side right? The anime isn't perfect and certainly not my top favorite in the genre. However as a fan of sports anime it pretty much nails what it's going for and I have to applaud that. Without giving anything away there is a lot of manly heartbreak in the tail end of the season. They leave things in a really interesting place so I'm anxious to see how that goes.

In terms of characters I liked it was kind of a wash, it felt like there were just as many throwaway archetypes if not more than there were characters that I thought were legitimately cool. It's rare that the main character in a sports show ends up being my favorite in the cast but this is a rare exception along with something like Slam Dunk. I can't help but root for Sawamura even though he'll never be ace material, and his bunts are incredible. Miyuki is alright, a bit cocky but he's got every right to be considering his aptitude as sort of a secret ace on the fielding side of things. I like to imagine the coach is just Golgo 13 having retired from the mercenary game to become a baseball coach. There are a couple more but those were the stand outs to me. Favorite moment was a subtle one, yet it still permeates throughout the show right up to the very end. (Chris's eyes going from dead to alive).

Just fought the wall boss for the first time, would've beaten him if I wasn't at half a heart and 1 armor for my first attempt. My mistake was trying to switch weapons in slow mo and I didn't notice that I wandered into the fire. Similar situation with the archpriest boss on chamber 4 where I went in with little to no health. Fourth chamber boss is the furthest I've made it though I did get to the Abbey for the first time today. Love how weird some of these side paths get. Also working on the fourth floor elevator repair. I don't really use the elevators but some of the unlocks you get from elevator guy in the Breach are pretty damn great.

What I can tell from my small amount of "researching", is that it seems like the faster you are at clearing out a room skillfully (not getting hit, don't waste too many bullets), the more money you get. At least that seems to be what I have been doing on my good moneyruns.

Alright, I guess that lines up with how my luck with money has been with my aforementioned technique. Having accuracy affect that seems kind of messed up considering sometimes you're shooting at enemies off screen or from behind cover.

I'm telling ya there seems like there's technique to the money drops. Maybe people could try this strategy and report back. Try shooting and killing enemies while standing still. You will know the trajectory of the bullets so you can easily roll out of the way if you need to but continue to try and kill dudes while standing still and occasionally rolling. I'm sure there are hidden bonuses for not getting hit as well but there are some runs where I make some serious bank early on with this strategy. Admittedly this could all be in my head.

Uuh, what happened to that other Gungeon thread?

My guess is someone wanted to put the kibosh on the anti-Vlambeer talk in the other thread. The mods must be on the take, follow the money. I'll take every opportunity I can bring up how badly they borked Nuclear Throne on PS4 because it's not like any remotely reputable news site will bring up such a small matter. I understand that it's easy to forget about a game that's months old but even indie devs shouldn't forget about their consumers.

Wait just a second...are Los Ingobernales de Japon just the Japanese Nation of Domination...? So Naito is basically The Rock. Looking forward to Naito's movie career. First movie Naito desu-ka?, a mockumentary that follows him around. It's basically 80-90 minutes of Naito not giving a fuck in various locales.

Still haven't even reached the 3rd floor boss. Has anyone found a "glitched chest"?

I found a chest that was glitching the fuck out and when I opened it I was warped to the next floor and it was just the elevator room and the boss room with a "glitch" version of a boss. I fought a glitched out Beholster. Even the text on his boss intro was glitched out. I unfortunately died probably because I was freaking out about how weird it was so I'm not sure what happens when you deal with that.

My brother was at Raw last night. Based on his testimony it sounds like the live crowd was quite pleased with the show overall. Some of the stuff they seem to be setting up almost makes me want to get back into watching that show. However one of my biggest problems with this company when I dropped it was consistency. If they can build to their next PPV without falling back on their shit booking then I might consider going back. A lot of the booking decisions I've read and heard about for the past two weeks of the show really don't sound like Vince booking outside of the endless Roman push. Also I can't think of any solid heels in that promotion outside of The Miz and maybe KO. Having fan favorites against fan favorites is kind of a bummer when both are usually guys you want to root for. Eh, I'm taking the wait and read about approach.

Watched some of the Invasion Attack matches. I just love the title "Invasion Attack". Sounds like a prog rock band or a Stand named after said prog rock band.

Osprey had a terrific debut match with KUSHIDA. It's weird I've seen that dude live a couple times at the tail end of 2015 and I'm still amazed by how good he is. Between his aerial ability, his ground game, and his selling he is already such a fantastic wrestler at such a young age. I think in a few years we'll all cherish the match he had with Trevor Lee in PWG since those two to me are the future of pro wrestling, or at least I hope they are.

Nick Jackson: "We are the best trio in this business, and New Day, YOU KNOW IT!" He's got a point there. The Bucks and Omega are absolutely three of my favorite wrestler characters currently, both in terms of ability and charisma. Though that quote also brings to light that New Japan may not be able to give these three the spectacle they deserve. Not going to invoke the name of a certain larger (but much worse) American promotion that could poach them out of Japan, I'm just worried these guys may not reach the heights of popularity that they genuinely deserve.

Naito is incredible you guys, or should I say he's incredognerables...? He beat Okada completely fairly and with skill alone(LMAO). He's really on the verge of breaking into my fave five wrestlers. He's going to have to wait for Nakamura to move up to the TV product that I don't follow before I can open up a slot for him. The irony of the main event was delicious to watch. The idea that the crowd suddenly turned smarky as fuck for this match in order to root for Naito all the way is positively hilarious. Considering a year or so ago he was just another fast flippy guy who wasn't Ibushi or KUSHIDA and who was booed by some crowds, it's good to see that his talent for being a dick is finally being embraced by people who can appreciate his progress as a wrestler and as a character. I haven't seen Sanada since TNA, hopefully he's picked up some new tricks of the trade from his time working with a promotion on death's door.

Some of the new endings on Botchamania are something else. Though I'd say that the One Punch McMahon video is nowhere near as good as One Punch Dan. Maybe Dirty Dan is just a better character than Shane McMahon these days, and that's a scary fucking thought.
