WOW are any of Microsoft's original intentions for the XBone still in affect? Didn't enough people 'see Titanfall'? Getting rid of kinect may have been wanted by gamers as well as the price drop, but doing so so quickly makes Microsoft look they didn't look ahead at all when planning what the 3rd Xbox needed to be.

Microsoft May now be able to maybe catch up a bit verses the PS4's current sales lead now it has price parity with Sony, but the fact remains their console is now more miss priced due to the tech discrepancies between the two.

And what about the admittedly few develops who we're making games for kinect? Out of the blue hearing that future owners won't have the camera.

I miss the original days of the OG Xbox that console was fantastic, Microsoft lost me as a customer when my 360 crapped out on me 11 months after launch. No matter how much they ever cut the price of their current console I'll never own one. Between owing a PS4 and a gaming PC what has Microsoft got that's unique just to them to get gamers back.

Anyway I've always thought kinect was a stupid concept for a gaming device and I have no issues with motion controls in general, even quite enjoy some of the experiences out there. Anyone who disagrees with my opinion all I can say is play octodad co op with every player using a PS MOVE controller possibly one of the funniest gaming sessions I've ever experienced.

MightyMonkeyMan's Gaming Diary

Hello to me (who else would want to read this rubbish)

Well then I quit my mind numbing stress full retail job manager of 5 years a few weeks ago (26th April), so until I get my ass into gear and figure out my future I am mainly playing through my backlog of games i've bought and never played and the stupid amount of PS+ games to keep myself sane.

Not doing too bad so far. Got my Platinum on inFamous second son just before finishing up my notice period at "work" and since then re-played through the PS4 version of Tomb Raider achieving more of the trophies than I had managed on the PS3 version the first time round. I've also completed Stick it to the Man (100% Trophies), such a short game but no complaints had fun with it and even ventured back to my PS3 and finally played Brothers (also 100% Trophies).

I wasn't sure I really enjoyed Brothers until I realised that I had finished in 2 attempts at playing it and noticed I lost an entire day to it. Although playing this game did make me think about my younger brother who passed away almost 1 year ago so the ending was a bit of a kicker. The game was a refreshing change tho and more games need to embrace the no combat mechanic and give us a pure adventure, games like Tomb Raider and Uncharted could both gives entire sections of their games just exploring areas filling out the stories cutting out the wave upon wave of pointless enemies.

Anyways this is gonna be my way to keep track on what i'm trying to play, just started South Park The Stick of Truth, lets see how it goes not an RPG fan but it's South Park so at least I must finish it, and I also think I finally download Octodad maybe play it with my dusty move controllers see how that goes??
