It is a true testament to who Ryan was, that here is a man who I never met and have only listened to on podcasts or watched on videos, yet I feel like I have lost a close friend or family member. He truly had a lasting impact clearly on those who he met and even those who he didn't. The world lost one of the great ones and my heartfelt condolences go out to the Giantbomb crew, Ryan's new bride, his family and all of those who were lucky enough to have known this wonderful individual. It truly is a dark day.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Ryan's family, his new wife and all of those associated with the Bombcast. This is horrible news and just a huge tragedy. I have been listening to the Bombcast for years and while I have never met any of you guys, in a weird way I consider the members of the Bombcast family. The show has gotten me through numerous bad points in my life and honestly feel like I have lost a close friend.

Your humor, knowledge and enthusiasm in the game industry will surely be missed.

I don't get the G4 hate. It had some decent programming. I know I would tune in regularly for Xplay and Attack of the Show ... also where else am I going to get my Ninja Warrior fix. Granted it did show some really bad shows and stupid movie's, but it had some diamonds in the rough there too that I am certainly going to miss.

That pretty much was my thinking on the matter as well. If I was some stupid rich guy and could give the Bombcast guys a blank check to do what they do, I would do so in a heartbeat ... but unfortunately I am that guy ... so at the very least I can give them the annual membership cost as a way of saying thanks guys for bring so much entertainment into my life.

Man this is a hard one ... but in all fairness the game that I typically get the most play time out of in any given year is actually MLB: The Show ... so whatever year it is I get stranded on this said island ... The Show for that year.
