I'm in a halfway house. I shoplifted but because I was caught at the location a second time it was deemed felony burglary. The first time I did it they told me I couldn't come back and it would be trespassing, the second time they gave me the felony burglary. Technically if you trespass to steal it is burglary. The worst part is this is the second time I've got this charge and so it is now aggravated burglary. I'm a drug addict and when I'm sober I'm super chill but being homeless because of my addiction I steal a lot. ANYWAYS

I'm in a halfway house. I live in a big bay with a lot of dudes. We have a ps4 with a projector so what I do is download the NJPW G1 matches and put them on a USB and we watch them, there are two guys in there who didn't even know about New Japan that are amazed how great it is. On top of that I brought in Street Fighter 5 vanilla and there was a line of guys waiting to play it. It's cool.

I am staying sober now and I'm not homeless and even though we are felons. Honestly we are all just normal people. It's cool to watch these matches with others as I never really watched wrestling with others. But yeah if you guys have any questions shoot.

I watched Pacific Rim 2 I give a 7.5/10

I liked it better than the first. I liked the young characters and the story and action. I'm not a huge movie person but hey it was cool.

I've been really addicted to Polytopia, it's great and I'm going to buy some more nations when I can, but ummm, the ramp from normal to hard is ridiculous. Like on normal I can do very well but on hard I get swamped by hordes of offense from the other teams, what do I do?

I was watching Patrick play Mario Maker (some vids from a few years ago) and then I watched him play some Mario cat game when he was working for Giant Bomb. So I asked him on Twitter if he was going to be playing anymore platformers on stream because he's kind of good at them and he's kind of known for playing them. Spelunky is a good one also. Well he said.

Yes. My hope is to do a weekly stream around something like that in 2017.

I think it's a typo and he means 2018. Still just wanted to let you guys know! Exciting news.

@lanechanger: I was thinking about this today. One day these guys are going to want to move on, but they have built such an amazing site that they are going to want the site to live on. Then again, if I worked at Giant Bomb I would keep working there as long as possible lol, and all of us fans will probably keep visiting the site for years and years to come so I mean, who knows? It wouldn't be that weird that 60 year old Jeff is covering games because by then he would have been doing it for so long and many of his peers will be that age too, plus all of us fans will be in our 50s soooooo who knows???

TL;DR My First E3 is great because it shows the new staff evolving, improving and opening up.

So if you guys have been savvy, you've listened to every episode of "My First E3" by Ben Pack and Abby Russell.

Now this 'podcast' is interesting. The shows rarely go beyond 20 minutes, they sound like they were recorded on an Iphone, and there is little to no structure. I can't criticize any of those things, as this podcast isn't meant to be a finely produced piece of journalism, it's meant to highlight two people that just got new jobs and are spending time in Los Angeles doing probably what they have dreamed of doing for a long long time.

That's one layer of the show that I love, the second layer is twofold. First is seeing Abby Russel finally open up with her personality. As we all know this is a personality driven website, even if all you do is run video, you have to have a personality that the audience enjoys. In many jobs, the video person just does video or the sound engineer just does his work and says something here and there. Look at Joe Rogan's podcast, his engineer rarely talks at all, but at Giant Bomb the engineers are expected to join in the chat just like any other. Even Drew, who had probably the most muted and calm personality out of all the staff, got over with us fans because of his personality (and his obsession with flight simulators). Abby seems like she's been very shy on the Beastcast and at first I was disappointed in her taciturnity. In the podcast she reveals that at seeing Brad at Walgreen's she was kind of afraid to even say hi to him. She might be a shy person (and that's fine), but as the My First E3 Episodes continue, in every episode she opens up more and more and more to the point where she is being absolutely wacky and hilarious in episode 4, a side of her I have certainly never heard on The Beast Cast.

Finally, listening to Ben and Abby connect as friends is quite fun. As each shows goes by they seem to read off each other more and have better chemistry. By the fourth episode I felt like it was just Ben and Abby talking the whole time even though Will Smith was there. They really dominated the show in a good way. It's a bit sad that these two work on different parts of America since they are so funny together. I would love a 'Scoops and the Wolf" type of short form weekly.

These are the two new hires. I consider them the 'Young Lions' of Giant Bomb, and I think the future is bright. I have already made a post here about how awesome Ben Pack is, but I never made that post about Abby. Now I can say that these are both funny people and I think if they keep doing what they are doing, the "My Second E3" podcast is going to be fucking great.

5/5 would listen again

I'm sure many of you have posted this same post a million times, but I like this Ben guy a lot. His game taste aligns right with mine so far and he seems pretty sharp. I know Giant Bomb is a 'personality' led website, where the people that work there have to have traits that comedians have and the guy seems funny as well. His laugh is kind of goofy, he like utters out a "Uh!" Yeah I'm excited for the "young lions" of the Giant Bomb!

I'm sure if wrestling gets good once again it'll go up, but the WWE product right now with what it is. I mean these guys are games writers and imagine how much time that shit would take up, I probably wouldn't have time to be watching stupidly long payperviews then discussing them, then raw all week. And then the discussion is just how terrible the product is. I'm a massive wrestling fan and will always watch, but if I ever got a time consuming serious job I probably would cut WWE out of my life and just watch NJPW here and there, I certainly wouldn't have any fun discussing it for hours at a time.

Hey guys, I'm Jon. I do stand up comedy in Colorado Springs here. Anyways, I'm not going to lie. I'm homeless. It's lame. Anyways the weather here was very bad recently. And as I was walking, the snow was blasting in my face. And I started yelling "NO NO NO NO!" and then I realized that you shouldnt shake the the baby. and so as the snow was whipping me around and I was freezing I was screaming :"NO NO NO DON'T SHAKE THE BABY". I just wanted you guys to know that this happened. The baby never got shook by they way, because I was sure to say no no no, don't shake the baby.
