The sniper stuff being mapped to the left stick (xbox version) really threw me. I didn't check to see if that's a wierd setting in the options or not, but I had a heck of a time sniping those guys in the soccer stadium with my left thumb. Wierder still is the fact that I'm a lefty and I never use the "southpaw" configuration.

Also what does an absorbing noise sound like? Is it like a sponge sucking up liquid?

@Pr1mus: I know, that's why it's a nit-pik of mine. The movie is centred on action and being constantly reminded of the incorrectness of it during the highlights of the movie ruined my experience. It was just one of those things that makes no sense to get uppity about bit it still bugged me nonetheless.

Edit: Infact it would have been WAY cooler if the sound effects they used were short little sounds that instantly got damped out. Like one tenth of a second of a ricochet sound and then fading out to nothing in an instant. That would have been awesome!

...Indie developers came to save the day! But yeah, their statement was very dumb. My father is 41 years old and loves Gears Of War. And that's not counting the number of adults who play Angry Birds. And i doubt Angry Birds can be related to real life.
Also:

Looks kinda col, but i don't like the whole aspect of the competition. This looks like the game where you should just run around doing silly shit and get shot by cops. Where did you download/bought that?
