Musou games are my guiltiest of all pleasures, right behind Justin Timberlake's music and having a certain affinity for the Daredevil movie.

I know. I KNOW. I'm a terrible person for at least two of those three. Nonetheless, there's just something about the systems in the Musou games - upgrading weapons and leveling up. I think it really clicked with me when I got Wei Yun to max level and started doing Chaos runs by SHOOTING A FUCKING FIREBALL FROM MY HEAD! It was just too much fun to be so goddamn powerful when I knew I could get killed so quickly.

With that said, I know jack nor shit about Fist of the North Star. Therefore, I may have to watch some of the anime and manga first before I jump into the game, just so I know what the fuck is going on.

Read at least half of the manga. It's fucking awesome, and the characters are interesting as fuck. Specially Raoh. He's awesome.

Yeah, either read or watch half the series. It's much better than it has any reason being and definitely worth the time.

For something that has such a simplistic and "ultra-macho" storyline, it's really, really great.

EDIT: Also, the boxer from the second half is really cool. Nothing compared to anyone from the first half, but hey...

I really hope this plays better than MK, always up for new fighting games but the systems and animations in MK9 I felt were quite poor in comparison to other games on the market.

I liked MK9, but the animations were kinda weird. I feel like this will be better in the gameplay part, but i feel like i can't say much about the animations.

It's definitely the best MK since Trilogy but god damn, the animations look so weird and cheap, I know MK has always kinda been that way but it just seemed really outdated to me in 2011 with stuff as fluid as SFIV, Marvel and Tekken 6 out there.

In Injustice, there's some footage where the animations don't bother me, but there are certain situation where it's just so ugly. That Bane move where he runs over the opponent is a good example.

@Demoskinos: Damn, he needs to be a narrator in the game.

@MikeGosot: I think the roster is pretty great as it is so far.

I just want some Aquaman. Aquaman rocks.

Has the Green Lantern been confirmed for this game? I love me some Green Lantern.

Or Deathstroke.

I like him too.

Both of these have been confirmed. The Green Lantern is Hal Jordan, by the way.

@mcderby4: Hey, is there any character that you want to see in the game?

THIS IS A FIGHTING GAME.

I played MK vs DC already and beat the shit out of Superman with Batman.

Case closed.

Oh c'mon, the whole purpose of this battle arena thing is to have these kinds of discussions(And to see some footage of the game!). Don't let our "nerd" talk annoy you.

Oh man, but that was awesome! I had the biggest grin ever when that text showed up. Tarantino is a mad genius.

I was like "Holy shit dude! DON'T DO THAT! IT'S A MOVIE YOU CAN SHOW STUFF TO US!", but hey different opinions, right?

@MikkaQ: I think going Kill Bill and making a mini-series out of the Basterds would be the best options. Django was pretty cool and pacing was it's only problem, and i really, REALLY disliked Basterds, mainly because it was booooring so i would be interested in seeing how a mini-series would be. I thought the "text in Mississipi" happened because, if i'm not mistaken, there's a new guy editing Tarantino movies, and i thought he was experimenting and shit like that.

@mcderby4: I think there was a comic where Batman and Super fought and Batman won. Maybe comic fans will scream about that when saying how awesome Batman is.

And i don't like Batman very much. For me, Bane would've won because holy shit, just look at that guy.

@mcderby4: Oh yeah, Batman will win, but that sucks, specially because everybody was all like "Yo, Diana is like a GODDESS, no training or equipment will win against a god". Still, i'm looking forward to Batman VS Superman. I would bet on Superman.

@Hailinel: True. I heard it was because he posted offensive racist stuff. I kind of doubt that, but since he was the guy that said he would be a dictator of the world if he was a superhero, anything is possible.

Also, i need to say this to someone: WTF WAS GOING ON IN DJANGO WHEN THEY GO TO MISSISSIPI!? Holy shit, that was so bad.

It's called slavery!

This part from Mississippi is PURDY AWESOME.

Oh, i was talking about when they go to Mississipi, the whole "Yo, they did some stuff now they're on Mississipi" thing. It was just text, it was so... Ugh. It made me feel like the movie was an edited version of a TV show. The rest was pretty good. Also, i loved the original Django talking to Jamie Foxx.

Looking good so far. Bane vs Batman could've gone either way really but Harley vs Diana? That made me laugh. I hope they don't create any more blatant mismatches.

Do you know if heroes win by voting or if we vote and then anything can happen? Because if it's the option, it's just a popularity contest, and Batman will win. That makes me sad. >:
