1. The Last of Us
Hands down best in show has to go to 'The Last of Us'. The game looks fantastic and we know from the track record with Uncharted that Naughty Dog are very unlikely to drop the ball with this one. Ever moment of the demo was intense, impressive and it looks like a game i would very much like to play.
2. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Does this game take place after Conviction? Cause if so the trend of Sam Fisher aging backwards continues as he looks even younger then he did in the last entry in the splinter cell collection. Sure we've lost Michael Ironside as Sam Fisher - which lets be honest is a bit of a blow - Ironside's gruff voice IS Sam Fisher. It's like Nolan North giving up Drake. The game looks good though and I'll be excited to play it.
3. Watch Dogs
A new and unique IP which was shown at the Ubisoft conference. When they first started talking about this game I was a bit confused, but seeing the gameplay I really liked the style and the world they were creating. It felt a bit like Dexter with super computers to me. The only thing I didn't like so much was the massive shootout that broke out in the later half of the demo. I'd rather it was more high tech super spy then rambo's day out.
4. Far Cry 3
Since first seeing a trailer for Far Cry 3 earlier in the year i've been pumped for the next game in the franchise. The story is looking more and more interesting and the world looks gorgeous. I wasn't really sold by the 4 player co-op demo (mainly cause of all the creepy and unnatural screaming by the 4 players), but the single player looks to be an interesting game.
5. Assassin's Creed III
Assassin's Creed 3 struck me as wanting to be a bit like Red Dead with its side quests and animal hunting. I'm still not sold on the location but the gameplay looks solid and most of all I find myself more excited for the spin off Vita game which will set us loose in New Orleans with a female assassin who looks like a pirate.
