It depends. I'd have to see the video in question. Things that were inoffensive 20 years ago are seen as offensive today with good reason. Maybe the accent thing is offensive but you just never think about it.
The only thing I know about KC is the fact that almost nothing interesting happens there. LA would be good. Vegas, Baltimore, Miami or New Orleans.
Is it less interesting than Pittsburgh? Cause I have even less reason to believe Pittsburgh is interesting (That's not entirely true. I don't remember if I've actually been to Pittsburgh.) and I can name twogames that have gotten decent experiences out of an apocalyptic Pittsburgh.
That'd be a small map. Unless they include the surrounding towns/areas as part of Kansas City. The actual city part with high rises and big buildings would be suuuper small though.
There are these things called cars, and I don't know fast travel between multiple maps exactly like Assassin's Creed used to do. I'm not actually trying to sell Kansas City. It was just the applicable place that popped into my head and I rolled. Sue me for thinking about Looper.
You just bought a gun to a knife fight. Don't bring in a fantastically entertaining movie into this fight to strengthen your argument. Not fair.
I think that KC and Pittsburgh are in the same class of city. Known for like 3 things but the three things aren't interesting enough to plan a visit there.
