If you haven't played the first Bioshock, then I highly recommend it. Another city wrapped in mystery. Gone Home follows a similar storytelling structure to the Bioshock games. Also, Hotline Miami has...

  • militantfreudian posted a message in the forum topic 2/3rds through year - your favourite 2014 games so far?. on the General Discussion board

I have a very busy semester, so I don't think I'll be buying any new games. That said, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Burial at Sea is the best thing I played -- and most likely will play -- ...

  • militantfreudian posted a message in the forum topic Good Podcast Games. on the General Discussion board

Currently, Diablo 3 is my go-to game when I want to listen to podcasts. Open world games like Fallout and TES can do the job as well. You can listen to podcasts while exploring. Other than that, I'd s...

I don't want to jump the gun, but I really hope the city's layout is not as confusing as Vergen or Loc Muinne. That aside, I'm impressed by how detailed Novigrad and the swampy area seem to be.

  • militantfreudian posted a message on the post Here's Six Minutes of Bloodborne Gameplay.

After putting over a hundred hours in each Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2 this year, I didn't expect to be so excited about this game. The art direction is just outstanding.

  • militantfreudian posted a message in the forum topic Buying Diablo III? How many times will that make it?. on the Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition board

I'm tempted to get it for last-gen consoles, but I think I'll wait until I get a PS4 and I probably won't get it until it's on sale.

  • militantfreudian posted a message in the forum topic Which of one of these action RPGs excites you the most?. on the General Discussion board

I'm looking forward to DA:I mainly for the combat, and The Witcher 3 for the story. That said, I'm still a bit skeptical -- or rather cautiously optimistic -- about them, since both are trying this op...

IGN has a different demo of the game; it takes place in the same region though. It's mostly exploration and some UI stuff. It feels less scripted to boot. On the subject of the UI, I personally dislik...

Wait, is Shadow Realms the new IP Casey Hudson has worked on? Well, I really hope not. The only good thing they've shown was the DA:I demo.

This might be my favorite new premium feature. Metal Gear's introductory cutscene is pretty impressive. I've seen worse directed cutscenes from games that came out few years ago.
