After all that Uncharted 2, I really hated the poor cover mechanism here.

Driving is even worse when the goal is to chase someone down. Yes, I am aware cars don't just stop on the spot, but it's not helpful if they handle like driving on soap. This adds unnecessary stress to chase sequences.

Interestingly enough, real crossfaders on real DJ mixers usually have a "center" position they snap into. I'm not sure why they left that feature out here, maybe because real fader switches cost a few cents more.

I assume that's because the addon packs are standalone, and would be way too large with all music - new and old - included.

No hate at all, I was merely expressing my thoughts when starting on the game again after all that time. The story and characters are still great, I'm not saying anything against that.

" If you don't mind spending a small amount of money in between missions you can just get a taxi to bring you to the mission start points, and even to some checkpoints while your doing the mission. So that should make it a little less tedious for you. "
Yeah, I do that. It's not helping much if I fail a mission repeatedly. It's just adding insult to injury, so to speak :)

With Gay Tony coming out today, I thought about giving the original GTA4 another try. I bought it on release day, played it a bit and while being kinda impressed for a while, I never really grew too fond of it. Some frustrating missions made it quite unenjoyable back then, so I stopped and moved on. Well, things are working out a bit better this time, as I was able to progress quite a bit more, but I can't help myself - GTA4 is kinda dated now. Compared to Uncharted 2, the presentation just isn't that exciting anymore - the character faces look not very real, animation is puppetlike and the textures look compressed. The clunky controls aren't any help either. But what I am missing most are the checkpoints. It's so damn annoying and frustrating to fail at the very end of a mission, and then after restarting having to do everything again, including the driving to the target. That's just damn tedious and not very fun.

I'm not getting any expansions for GTA until I finished it. I'm pretty certain that if I can't at least complete the main story, I'm not ready for more.

See picture. 3635 Achievements with 1365275 GS? Yeah right. Doesn't actually affect anything, but it's still wrong.

" This seems to be a case where another user with live edit privileges was editing the page just as your submission was approved, and when they submitted their edits it wiped out yours. The wiki history would make this simple to deal with, we would just look at the wiki history, find your edits and add them back to the live page. However the wiki history is currently down, so we cannot do this.  If you saved a copy of your edits to your PC before submitting (which we recommend you do, because things like this can happen occasionally) resubmit your edits & let me know so I can approve them ASAP. If you didn't, I'll deal with this as soon as the wiki history is back online (I don't know when this will be, I'll PM one of the staffers to get an ETA on this). "

Nope, I didn't save anything, because I expect a Wiki to work like a Wiki works (with a version control system, that is). I'll just wait till the devs added the version control back in before submitting more. Thanks for the help!

Since Sony cancelled the service, chances are that you're gonna be stuck there forever. So no PS3 account on GB until Sony says something. "
That's really a bummer that they did that, so no other site could collect the information.
Except of course playstation.com and  http://ps3trophycard.com/ "
Wouldn't be hard to code a script that scrapes that website, but I doubt that's a solution.

I added clean images for all the classes in the game (mixed races, in their current high-level gear, made with Wowmodelviewer from random existing chars). Before (and currently), there were/are extremely uneven images, partially from Blizzard material that was 5 years old, some very blurry and pixelated, some with white background, some with black, some were screenshots off the character selection screen. My versions all employ a black background, are of high quality and show off current endgame gear real players are using.

I also added all instances and raid zones in The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King, changed Onyxia's Lair to be level 80, and rewrote the "Gameplay" paragraph regarding instanced gameplay, which was very biased and hard to understand for people who don't play World of Warcraft. I also fixed the mount minimum level to be 20 instead of 30 and slightly reworded parts of the Rogue class paragraph.

The only things that actually did go through were two of the images (Warrior and Hunter), but strangely not with the description I added.

I even got 430 points from the submissions, none was rejected, one is still not approved (more images). I've never seen any of the missing submissions show up.
