Its a fun brawl but lacks a great ground game 0

The UFC is the top dog in the world of Mixed Martial Arts. With EA (at least the time) not having the license, that makes this already a hard sell for a hardcore mma fan let alone a casual fan. EA MMA tries to be a different game than the offering that THQ has available. In many ways this game improves over that games faults but has faults of its own that make it dull at times. The high points are enough to overshadow the lower ones but its hard to ignore what this game lacks in.The most importa...

A game that redifined a Generation for MMA Fans 0

Im gonna be upfront by saying that i haven't played this game in maybe a year, but I wanna give my thoughts on it. Before the release of this game, the UFC was beginning to build a lot of steam with popularity that was gaining from the mainstream. This game couldn't of been released at a better time with the sport becoming mainstream.Enough with opinions of the sport and now moving onto the game itself. UFC 2009: Undisputed gives a terrific first impression. The knockouts are brutal and the cont...

Halo Reach is a slick shooter and is a lot of fun 0

Its odd to say that but Reach doesnt really redefine anything it is still just such a good experience. Everything the game does from its campaign, multiplayer and Firefight mode are very well done. For the most part this is a Halo game that doesnt break too far from the mold. The Campaign has great AI, the multiplayer is a blast with friends and FIrefight is as fun as ever. But all 3 of these elements really blend well together to truly give you more mileage for your money            If you don'...

A Good Collection of Popular and lesser known classics 0

Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded is the second compilation from capcom. This compilation includes 19 classic games. They range from the first 3 Street Fighters (Street Fighter II, Street Fighter II: Champion Edition, Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting). Other games are the Ghouls'n Ghost and Ghost and Goblins. Whats good about this compilation is that it has different types of games from different genres. So it has Fighting games, Shooters, SHMUPS (shoot em ups) and Beat em ups. so the variety...

its expensive, short and dull, why not port the SNES version? 0

Turtles in time re-shelled just dissapointed me so much. i really wanted to go back on a nostolgic trip back to this game and remember the good times i had playing with my brother and cousins. But in reality this game does not hold up well as all it is, is just a stupid beat em up that was meant to eat your quarters with cheap boss battles.  Turtles plays almost like it did when it came out in the arcades. Except now you can move around the plain 8-way so its even easier to fight the enemies and...

Smackdown improves over 2008 in many ways and is very enjoyable 0

Smackdown vs Raw 2008 was a somewhat mediocore game that i had high hopes for and it kinda dissapointed me. SD vs Raw 2009 is a great improvement over last years attempt and it refines some of the faults last year and it adds in many great improvements. The games single player is quite versatile. Like in any Smackdown game you can play exhibition matches in which you choose a match and choose wrestlers to fight in that match, This is the quickest way to get into action. New this year is the Road ...

GH is just unoriginal and copies many aspects from RB 2 0

Its no secret that GH World Tour is a lot like Rock Band 2. So much that it includes the same 4 instruments and implements many of the Rock Band features while trying to make other aspects unique but those other aspects just feel tacted on and not good in any way.To start out this is your standard music rhythm game. Their are notes that come down your highway and it is your job to hit those notes on the guitar, drums or sing the note on the mic. The game plays decently well in some respects. The...

Paradise is a perfect blend of great action and smooth racing 0

Burnout Paradise is a very different Burnout Game. It still has all of the very high intense racing but in a different formula. This time around the game uses an open-ended formula that works well to the games advantage. The game knows how to make this formula work by making everything you do in the games world so seamlessTo start out the game it seems pretty bare and barely gives you any detail. But also th world is so huge that you might be pretty confused about how to do races and other event...

Def Jam is odd but it gets the job done by being enjoyable 0

At first Def Jam may seem like a pretty broken Fighting game. There are many aspects that just feel not to good at first. It starts with the lag of the controls. For all of the punches that you throw or kicks there will be a half second lag to all of your commands and that can be frustrating. But once you look at the overall style of the game and get used to the controls the game is actually pretty good.To start out with the game has a couple different modes. They are all just 1 on 1 fighting mo...

SVR is fun but nothing really sticks out as amazing 0

Smackdown vs Raw 2008 on 360 is quite a fun game. Many aspects can be fun but, also a lot of aspects are just either dated or just not to well done. There are a bit of new features such as the ECW overall and the addition of superstar fighting styles but overall the game hasnt changed too much. So this game has your standard modes of play. Their is your typical match types as singes, doubles, triple threats, fatal four and so on. Whats special this year is that all of those matche variants have ...

Though the gameplay isnt that great, GTA is just plain amazing 0

Good: Amazing sense of style on very aspect of the game, Artistically the game looks amazing, The Soundtrack is one of the best in Gaming, The Story is thrilling and quite comical, all of the characters are very well done, All of the sounds are very good, You feel like your in 80's Miami, Amazing atmosphereBad: Weak gunplay, ugly character models, technically the game doesnt look too goodGTA Vice CIty is a great game. It still holds up today and anyone who didnt get to play it should right now. ...

Some lame games aside this collection is pretty cool 0

Sega Genesis Collection is a great release for genesis junkys. This compilation includes 27 games and some are great  but it also includes some worthless titles that dont really even belong here.To start off this collection has near perfect emulation on all of the games in this colletcion. The only thing that will not be accurate is some of the music as they have changed some of it but it still sounds decent. The games that shine are sonic 1 & 2, Vectorman 1 & 2, Golden Axe 1 & 2 ,Bo...

Mario brings his charming Gameplay upon this amazing adventure th 0

Super mario Galaxy Was nintendos big mario game for the Wii. Actually I feel they actually have a right to say that this time. Since Sunshine was such a let down its great to see that this game is so greatSo to start off this is quite revolutionary but its still the same mario formula. You will have a HUB and then you jus go to each level like you would in any other 3D mario game. Accept now you are in a space so that really gives the game a great estetic look. Speaking of how the game looks it ...
