That's normal size... A big game with the size of 40-50GB with high-resolution textures is pretty normal these days.
I wouldn't say that 40+ gigs games are quite the norm. If we compare to for example Battlefield 4 which has 18 multiplayer maps and a single player campaign, and you wouldn't call it exactly ugly, takes "only" 34GB. Wasn't Titanfall multiplayer only with handful of maps? Those assets must be absolutely massive.
Do you know how big a percentage of the Finnish (male) population actually serve in the military now? Here in Norway it's been getting really easy to avoid serving, I hardly know anyone who has been in the military unless they really wanted to these days.
Some guesstimates it's around 60 - 70% these days. It was 78% on 2012.
I have to throw different opinion in to the mix. For me installing China Rising was straightforward and hassle free. When I tried to join a game thru battlelog, it opened Origin, downloaded and installed a patch and then CR. After that it loaded the game.
