@WinterSnowblind: While you are right to say that collaborations like this can happen, a game of this magnitude brand wise will find itself on an XBLA scale instead of a retail level as the turtles are not as valuable a franchise as they once were. Also if this game were to be pegged to a movie Warner Bros. would not be the ones behind it as they have said that they are no longer interested in movie tie in games and are instead interested in building franchises http://articles.latimes.com/2011/oct/18/business/la-fi-1018-ct-warner-interactive-20111018.

The other sad truth is that beyond the comics which I believe the rights are done separately with a franchise like TMNT where the last film made 95 million dollars off 30 million the brand value would lean any adaptations towards the goofy and away from the dark regardless on what is initially said.

Rights issues make this very unlikely as Rocksteady are owned by Warner Bros and TMNT are owned by Viacom and publishers aren't very interested in making games with franchises that they don't own anymore. Also personally I would like to see such a talented developer like Rocksteady make something new and amazing instead of making a co-op Batman with dumb jokes. A full scale DCU from them wouldn't suck either.

@Bourbon_Warrior: Its not about the money, its about YOUR rights. Jeff's Rights. Brad's rights. Ryan's rights. Vinny's rights. Get off your spoiled ass and lose your "MAAAMM THEY'RE GONNA TAEK AWAY MY VIDYA GAEM COVERAGE" attitude and look at this from EVERYONE'S SHOES.

If SOPA passes, you will loose ALL E3 COVERAGE that you are bitching and complaining about this ONE time, for the REST OF TIME.

Yeah cause video game sites going down will change the white houses mind...

I think you just missed the point. Like, completely.

No, write to your local representitives, congress or the president. Protest outside the white house. Missing info from giant bomb on GTA5 really isnt going to do anything, they are a small site, sites like Youtube, Facebook and Wikipedia would make an impact, not games site number 45325.

In Tunisia in 2010 a street vendor by the name of Mohamed Bouazizi set himself on fire to protest against the regime at the time. This begins a snowball effect that slowly leads to the eventual downfall of the entire Tunisian government to be replaced with a democratic one. This leads to other Arab countries to see that they do not have to be under the rule of other Dictators and has so far seen the downfall of both the Egyptian and Libyan Dictatorships, has seen most other countries in the region make various reforms towards democracy and had a hand in the creation of the Occupy Wall Street movement. You may see this as an insignificant move but once a snowball gets going it becomes increasingly hard to stop.

@Doctorchimp: I will give up one year of amazing E3 coverage if it means many more years of amazing coverage especially if it means more power in the coverage
