I believe Jeff has spoken on this in a Jar Time, but after the initial wave of great games for the latest gen consoles, growing gamepad support on the PC is the highlight of this generation for me. I'm sure there are others that go through the ritual of booting up a PC game, and either choosing mouse and keyboard or controller depending on type of game, and then switching to the other input just because the choice is there. I'm gonna go with controller 95% of the time for third person games, and 99% of the time for FPS games, but having the option was and continues to be a game changer. Now when that support isn't there, it makes me wonder if I'm missing a better experience.

I bought mine for 180 back during that Amazon one day sell last year. I got 120 hours out of PS4:Golden and started like 10 other games that I will probably never finish. I never looked at it as being anything more than a Persona 4 conduit though. Buying it now on the precipice of holiday season is probably a bad idea. I'd wait for a good bundle or sale to come around like they did last year.

They need to put out an "Indie" game bundle with BoI:Rebirth, Rogue Legacy, Spelunky, Hotline Miami and like 1 or 2 other games with 3 months of Plus for 225-235$. A bundle like that would get the games that fit perfectly on the VIta out in the public consciousness. Remote Play is a cool feature for the hardcore set, but the general public didn't bite on the play console games on the go hype.

After all the final info has come out, this is certifiably a fantastic deal, especially if you flip the game for money afterward.

I did a search for Kendrick Lamar and Kendrick Control before making this, so I apologize if it has been discussed. A few days ago Big Sean released a leak from Hall of Fame featuring Kendrick Lamar and Jay Electronica that would not make the album do to licensing. Anyone who follows hip hop knows the fallout from this track. I was wondering what people thought about this impact and actual quality of the verse. I think the verse itself is about average for Kendrick, but it's actual importance may be legendary level.

I like this trend of video game companies back-pedaling on bad decisions fairly quickly (e.g. Xbox One DRM). Now they just have to stop being so ignorant in the first place.

I had been playing with a headset on for most of the game, and while I was really enjoying the sound design I didn't feel it was too loud. That was until I noticed that every time I used the shotgun or shorty I would get a ringing in my ears. I messed with the sliders a bit and that hasn't happened since, but I think this is the first game I've ever had to adjust the sliders because the game was too loud and not vice versa.
