Infamous: Might not have the greatest story ever but is a very entertaining game and a must have for all PS3 owners.
Killzone 2: This graphics powerhouse is one of the most beautiful games ever and has one of the best online modes on the PS3.
Fight Night Round 4: Most realistic fighting game ever, even with the forced joystick controls this game is near perfect.
UFC 09: Most impactful fighting game ever seen. When you pound on someone it really feels like it.
Red Fraction: Guerrilla: Destroy everything and defend the faction.

Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena: 2 great games for the price of one need I say more.

Street Fighter 4: One of the best fighting games ever made.

BlazBlue - Calamity Trigger: Don’t know it? Get to it! Great, beautiful, and fluid animations make this a must have fighting game.

Games of 09 I can’t wait for:

Halo: ODST – Not the biggest of halo fans but this game looks awesome. No Master Chief no problem.

Uncharted 2 – Uncharted part one is still in my top 5 PS3 games to date and the sequel looks even better.

Modern Warfare 2: Call of Duty 4 Done!

Splinter Cell: Conviction: The game looked amazing at E3, liking the new direction of the game.

Dragon Age: Origins: Bioware are masters of their craft and I can't wait to dive into their newest title.   

Assassin’s Creed 2: Amazing looking game, so far I like what they have shown with the DaVinci inventions and the ability to use a ton of new weapons.

Left for Dead 2: Say what you want about how fast this game came out, I’m excited about it and what it brings to the 360 and Pc this Fall.  

Well 09 has been a rollercoaster year and it’s going from being one of the greatest years ever to maybe the biggest year of gaming as far as games and announcements for gaming. I mean come on the vitality sensor will change gaming forever.........ok maybe not but let's not forget these were the people that sold over 6 million bathroom scales and outsold all "AAA"  titles, so you'll never know. Now that we are in July and officially in the second have of the yea, I think it pretty safe to mention what I'm looking forward to this year without fear of it being bumped to 2010. The question now is which games stand out from the group, but wait......is there a problem it’s not really looking too crowded anymore. Most of the blockbuster hits we assumed at the beginning of the year are finding their way to next year which is a good thing but it’s also bringing up a new question. Are there too many games coming next Spring? Sounds weird right? How about this for weird, is Spring going to have a better line-up then the Fall. So before I get to my must haves I'm going to do a Q4 2009 vs. Q1 2010.

Now the list for Q4 09 is larger than the Q1 2010 but its too early to tell what will happen with the line ups. Even though the list for 09 is larger the fire power that Q1 2010 is packing is a tough act to compete against. With titles like God of War 3 and Mass Effect 2 Q1 is packing heat. In the end it’s the opinion of the gamer, but one thing is for sure we are not lacking great games anytime soon and I personally can't wait until I'm pulling my hair out at what to spend what little money I have on. As I was saying earlier 09 is an amazing year in gaming and it seems more and more like we are saying this every year which makes me happy to be a gamer, just sad to be unemployed.
