I would love to see a bisping/ sonnen fight. As for his actions, I am a little saddened because I am a Bisping fan. That knee though. That knee was on purpose by someone who knew better. My thought on the subject though is that Jorge lost the fight fair and square though. Jorge had the right to say that knee fucked him up and would have won because of a DQ. That isn't the best way to win, yet he made the choice to go on and fight instead.
Now the real issue is whether the rules should be revisited. I am a big fan of the Pride FC rules-set, and I remember listening to Rogan be very convincing about how he sees guys deliberately taking a knee to avoid being hit. I believe that taking a knee so your opponent isn't able to attack is antithetical to fighting. Think about it, a wrestler goes in for a take-down and does so from a low position, what are you supposed to do? You can sprawl, punch (not really effective), try to move out of the way, or knee/kick. Unfortunately kneeing/kicking isn't allowed despite the fact it is one of the most useful defensive tactics.
