Hi, I am Paul Barnett. I have nothing to contribute to game development. Well, once I made an incredible failure called Warhammer Online. It is the largest embarrassment in the history of MMOs. But giantbomb loves me. lol?

Gimmicky rental

He failed spectacularly while making Warhammer Online, and is about as interesting as any random person you might come across while Googling "game developer" + "podcast". So why is he so popular here?
 
He is the poster child for "a person with shitty ideas that helped make a $80+ million project fail miserably".

Galactic Base Defense, solid tower defense game. Set up a laser in front of the spawn point in stage 3 ;)

I tend to use the steam punk costume or the Mister Moon outfit I found.

What did this generation bring to the table?
 
Ubiquitous on-line gaming for consoles and rapid access to content without having to visit a brick-and-mortar store.

Happened to me once after I dropped my PS3. I had to reseat the hard drive.

As publishers, I suppose "where it counts", they're fine financially (Nintendo, Capcom, Sega, et al and et cetera). Idea and creatively-wise, they're too set in their ways and are clearly receding. They keep it up, and they really will be in trouble before too long.
