Abbey opened the curtains at the beginning and immediately recognized Toronto's flag. However, that plaza and buildings don't exist. No building that low would have that many solar panels surrounded by that many high rises. Not to mention the snow covering the rooftops in the winter. Just throw in a CN Tower model anywhere and you get the point what city you are in.
Oh wow, the commentators they went with are an interesting choice. James Cybulski is definitely not a play-by-play guy but fascinating to hear him here. He was a sportscaster first, then radio host back in the day for TSN, left, then got picked up by Sportsnet and worked there until 2016. I have no idea what he has been doing and this is the first time in a long time to see him back in the fold. I distinctly remember Jay Onrait calling him C-balls back in the day.
Ray Ferraro is the between the bench colour commentary on TSN's hockey broadcasts who is really good. It makes sense he is one of the announcers here.
This seems like a cost-cutting move (and better access to the talent) because TSN gets the scraps in regards to broadcasting games. Sportsnet (owned by Rogers) has the national contract and subleases games to CBC for Hockey Night in Canada. TSN gets whatever mid-week small market games. However, TSN's hockey experts, panel and commentary are so much better, knowledgable, and good humour.
I would be okay if Alex chooses to replay the mission, make the same choice of the Fire Team leader being Samara but sends Kasumi as a tech expert (knowing that she will die). Alex is clearly invested in the Geth storyline and having both Legion and Tali in Mass Effect 3 gives the player one of the biggest decisions to mull over. I'm curious if Alex nails all the choices for the optimal route, and if not, what his final decision will be. That was such a good moment in ME3 I would want Alex to experience that moment with Vinny and the audience.
@roytheone: It's interesting you point that out. Replaying the game for the first time it came out, I realized I just choose the top right answer regardless of what it says. It makes sense why BioWare included the 'narrative mode' in Mass Effect 3 because of its one or the other selections for dialogue. It probably would have been difficult, but if there were multiple options jumbled, then it would make the points feel earned.
Alex WAS struggling which way he would have chosen regarding Tali's father. At this rate, I don't think he will have any issues for the main suicide mission.
I'm glad @vinny enjoys how Quarians titles adopt their home ship names. One of the BEST underrated jokes in the whole ME series involves a prominent Quarian with a really goofy ship name. The other options he considered changing his name to are on the same level of humor of Geth Rogan.
