good to hear man! i live farther east so thankfully i had nothing to fear, but i couldn't believe it when i saw the tornado warning and then the actual footage was just crazy.
i'm sure it's nothing to people used to more devastating tornadoes, but i thought it was pretty nuts
CT reporting in. i couldn't believe i heard about a tornado warning was in effect. only here it seems like the worst we get is thunder and rain storms. it's pretty crazy. i was sad that we didn't get anything. i live in the middle so there was nothing.
I'm in Holyoke the next town over so we mostly got hail and rain. But my mother is in westside and her yard got trashed also my cousins jeep got fucked up.
I'm sorry for your bad experience.I live in Cleveland, and we just get wind and hail typically, but both sides of Akron nearby get twisters almost yearly. We lost power for 5 days from Hurricane Ike without any funnels.
I live in California, where we don't get tornadoes. I think we banned them or something. Funny story, when my Dad came back from Vietnam, he spent some time traveling across America with some buddies he made. When he was spending time in Kansas he looked outside and said something along the lines of "wow, the sky looks pretty cool". Then his friend had to come outside to drag him into the house. When he asked why, his friend replied, "What do you mean WHY?! That's a tornado".
In all seriousness I'm happy to hear you're all right.
