Semper Fidelis: Becoming a Marine- Back on Track!

At least, I'm kind of back on track. I've finally gotten around to contacting a new recruiter here in my new City, and found out that I was wrong about one of my Eligibility options for enlistment. I'm actually pretty close (a couple community college classes away) from having enough credits to be at the same eligibility as a High School grad. I had previously thought that I needed a GED on top of the credits, so I wasn't too keen on it, but now I know I just need the credits, that'll be what I'm pursuing.

I've also got a job starting in the next few days, so when I get the chance to start schooling, I'll actually have a way to pay for it, which is certainly a plus. Hoping to be done with that in the next 6 months and also hoping I don't end up waiting 6-9 months for a spot at Basic.

I'll have to find out if (I'm guessing yes) I'll have to figure out MOS again, I can't even remember what I was set on last time but I'd like to go Infantry. My desire to go Recon at some point has strengthened into something of a plan, but depends on early experiences in the Corps.
